Hey crafty friends! Brianna Lepper here with you today sharing this layout using both the Chloe and Cooper collections. I just love mixing both of these collections together. Here's my layout!
To start, I cut the newly released Adventure Awaits cut file on some textured white cardstock. I love this cut file so much! It provides a perfect spot for you to nestle your photo into. Once it was done cutting, I started backing it using both 6x6 paper pads. I love that the patterns from both Chloe and Cooper go so well together! For the base of my layout, I chose the 12x12 Smitten patterned paper from Chloe. Since it's mostly white with a bit of a blue graph design, I wanted the 'awaits' portion of the cut file to stand out on top of it. So I took one of my Distress Oxide Inks in Spun Sugar and blended the color from the bottom up giving it an ombre look.
Next, I took the 12x12 Borders patterned paper from Chloe and trimmed some of the strips out. Then I ran them through a few different border punches from my stash. I layered them up on the left side of the page and pulled some of the border stickers from both the Chloe and Cooper Doohickey Cardstock stickers and layered those in between some of the punched border strips. Lastly, I ran it through my sewing machine to give it some interest and texture.
I then adhered the backed cut file onto my page making sure to partially layer it on top of the border strips. I layered a tag from the Chloe Ephemera Icons pack underneath my photo, added some ribbon from my stash to the tag and layered them both right under the cut file. In the photo, my dog Luna was looking out to the left and that created some white space where the cut file could sit. It also created a little area for me to add an embellishment cluster.
This cute dog from the Cooper ephemera icons was a perfect addition to my page. It looks like Luna is looking at her! I added a few cloud ephemera pieces from the same Cooper ephemera pack right behind the dog piece as well as under my photo. That section needed some pops of blue to bring it all together.
Both Chloe and Cooper have floral elements and I wanted to make sure I added a few onto the page. So I cut a few of the Bella Flowers cut files out on some white cardstock. Once they were done cutting, I blended on color using my Distress Oxide ink pads. When the ink was finished drying, I sprinkled them with clean water to pick up some of the color and then splattered on white acrylic paint. Next, I created a few clusters using the floral cut file pieces around my page.
In this next cluster, I layered some Cooper ephemera as well as a floral chipboard sticker from Chloe. I also used some of the new Matte Enamels from both collections and scattered those around my page as well.
I just received the new Aria puffy alpha stickers so I had to use some on my layout. They're so beautiful!! I added onto my title using the ones in Peep.
Lastly, I felt like my page needed a few more pops of the darker blue so I grabbed my tiny star punch and punched a few stars out using the Blueberry paper from the Bella Besties 6x6 paper pad and added them to my 3 clusters.
I absolutely love how this page turned out!! I am loving this new large cut file and the new Aria Puffy Alphas!! I can't wait to use them again on another layout! Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you in my next post.
