Hey friends, I hope you're well! :)
Today I'm sharing a new layout, featuring the Wish Big collections to celebrate Bella's 12th birthday :)
I really love the Wish big collections. There is the girl part and the boy part and they fit together really well.
I wanted to scrap a picture from my 35th birthday, which was on June 19th. I started by drawing a cute little bunny, sitting in a cupcake liner. I cut out the different pieces, traced them on different patterned papers from the collection, and adhered all the pieces onto white paper. Then I cut it out, leaving white borders.
For the background, I did a bit of mixed media, using acrylic inks in the same colors you can find in the collection. I did some overlapping stripes in different directions, some dots and splatters and then I used a star stencil on top, with white acrylic paint. I let the background dry for a few minutes and looked for all the pieces that I wanted to use from the Wish Big collections.
Then I created five cute little rosettes, using white paper and placing a heart or star in the middle of each one. I backed my photo with two different patterned papers.
Then I started placing everything on my page. When I had everything how I liked it, I adhered the photo and little bunny with foam tape, next to each other. Then I adhered my rosettes, after putting some tangled thread behind them. I decorated with some ephemera and chipboard pieces. I love the super cute flamingo with it's hat...:) I used flowers, hearts, stars and a crown to place on the bunny's head.
For my title, I used an acrylic word and some Wonky Alpha stickers. I finished the layout with some black splatters to come back with the black that's in the photo.
I think it turned out super cute and I hope you do too.
Thank you so much for being here,
see you soon! :)
This is fab!!
