It's summer and I'm so happy about the sunshine and warm, relaxing days! When I saw June's mood board, I knew I had the perfect papers to go with the summer, water, and rainbow themes.

I love the blues, yellows and reds on this inspiration piece.  My eye was drawn to the yellow square over the blue stripes.  It felt like sunshine over water to me, so I went with that on my cover.

 

Since the mood board had a rainbow design, I wanted to add several rainbow patterns in my album. I fell in love with the heart die cut from the Splash Zone ephemera words and used that on my first page.                                    

 

I added another rainbow pattern down the side of this page, and kept the water theme going with the cute splash paper.

The rainbow on the mood board isn't curved, so I wanted the colored patterns on the page below to have a more rectangular, edgy feel.  The cute little word stickers added a fun finishing touch.

The page below might be my favorite because I was inspired by the round ice cream scoops.  I found these colorful die cut circles in the Wish Big ephemera, and used them to surround a 2 1/4" circular photo mat.
