Hey y'all! Happy International Scrapbooking Day! Brianna Lepper here to share a sweet Spring layout using another newly released Bella Cut File that you can find here. I hope you're staying healthy and safe and I also hope that you're able to create something today!
First, I cut the Springtime Title out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 using the Plaids and Dotty patterned papers in the colors Punch, Gulf, Cotton Candy and Plum. Then I went back into my Silhouette software and offset the cut file and cut it one more time using the Bella Besties Freehand Graph & Dot patterned paper in White. I wanted my large title to pop off the page and adding a white border around each letter helped do this!
Once I completed my title, I took the Houseplants patterned paper from the Home Sweet Home collection and ran it through my sewing machine several times, moving the paper back and forth to create wavy lines. Then I took white acrylic paint and some Heidi Swapp Gold Colorshine and splattered both onto the page. I love the look of white paint splatters on dark backgrounds.
While I waited for the paint to dry, I grabbed a floral paper punch from my stash and created flowers using the Welcome Home and Home Sweet Home patterned papers. I also punched some florals using some vellum to add in those layers. On one of the flowers I added a heart ephemera piece and a sticker from the Bella Besties Word Salad Booklet on top of some tangled thread.
In addition to using the large cut file as my title, I added some Cotton Candy Florence stickers. Using the backside of the scraps from my title, I punched out some butterflies. I also punched out butterflies on some vellum and layered those on top. I then ran them through my sewing machine to give them even more texture. I pulled a few border stickers from the Doohickey Cardstock sticker sheet and added one to the top and the bottom. This really tied everything together and I love how it looks!
I wanted to add a few smaller elements to my page so I used a few of the Matte Enamels from the Squeeze The Day collection and sprinkled those around my page. I also added some chipboard hearts and tucked those into a few spaces. I absolutely love the color scheme of this page!
Thank y'all so much for stopping by and I hope I've inspired you in some way! I also hope that you're able to find some time to get crafty, there's lots of inspiration being shared today!
