Hey y'all! Brianna Lepper here today with an Easter layout inspired by the April Mood board below. Isn't this mood board absolutely gorgeous??? The soft pastel colors, the eggs, the layers and of course the rainbows! I used quite a few different elements from the mood board, I was inspired by the rainbows, layers, stripes soft colors and of course Easter!
I absolutely love how my layout turned out! Bella Blvd released several new cut files that are available here in the Silhouette Design Store. I used the Sweet Sweet Spring Beehive cut file and cut it using some of the colors from the Bella Besties 6x6 paper pad on my Silhouette Cameo3. I chose the softest colors in rainbow order and hand stitched around the entire cut file. I used these patterned papers: Cotton Candy, Bell Pepper, Pickle Juice, Ice and Plum. For the rest of my layout, I mainly used the Home Sweet Home collection.
Here's an up close photo of the layered papers on the beehive along with the hand stitching. The texture and homespun feel adds so much detail to this super cute cut file!
The cut file also comes with the most adorable little bees so I cut them using the paper scraps leftover from the beehive.
Since I was creating a Spring/Easter layout, this project definitely needed some floral pieces! I fussy cut some flowers from the Welcome Home patterned paper from the Home Sweet Home collection. I also got out a few punches from my stash and punched leaves and more floral shapes using the Daily Details patterned paper. I also added a few Fruity Mix Matte Enamels to be the centers of my flowers.
I also layered and clustered the flowers from the Ephemera Icons. I made sure there were several floral clusters around my page since I loved them so much! I tucked in a few Ciao Chip white hearts from the So In Love pack in a few of those clusters.
For my title, I used the Happy acrylic word piece and paired it with the Florence alphas in Cotton Candy.
I then fussy cut a few butterflies from that same patterned paper I had cut the florals out of and scattered them around my page. I added a couple of stickers from the Word Salad Booklet and some tangled thread in a few spots. Oh! And I forgot to mention that before I did allll of that, I had added a bit of mixed media on my background. Something simple and soft to be behind that cute beehive!
Thank y'all so much for stopping by! Don't forget to stop and check out all of the new Bella Blvd cut files!!
