Family Mood Board Inspiration Layout | Dorymar

Hi friends! Dorymar here today sharing a very inspirational layout. As an assignment for the new year we will be using mood boards to create our projects, for this month we will use the following.

I started by creating a gradient of watercolor spots on the left side of the background from yellow to teal, then I added some splatters. Once I created the left side of the background, I used the same colors of the watercolor in threads to create the right side of the background. All the colors were inspired by the Mood Board, they flow nicely through the page.

Here you can see how all of the watercolors and threads made a perfect combination with the papers included in the Bella Besties Collection Kit.

They are great for creating and matching in any project.

To incorporate the golden color presented in the Mood Board, I added some sequins between the paint splatters. As a background of the photo, I used several pieces of the Daily Details and Houseplants papers to create several layers and add dimension to the project.

I loved the result!

To finish this page, I mixed some of the embellishment clusters from the Home Sweet Home Collection to decorate closer to the picture and to create the title of this page.

I LOVE how this turned out, though it took a bit of time to construct, it is the perfect way to document your family memories.
