Are you ready for Summer break? I know we are here in the Thompson home! We are looking forward to sunny days, sleeping in and summer adventures! This week on the Bella Blog we are creating projects to document those end of the school year moments! The last day of the school year is always a big and fun moment. I love to snap a photo of the kids on their last day of school. They of coarse are never to thrilled about mom busting out her camera but they work with me.
I pulled out two Bella collections to create my layout today, Splash Zone and Home Sweet Home. Two totally different collections but I was able to use them together to create this layout. If you are like me this is one of the reason why you love the Bella Blvd. I found a cut file from The Cut Shoppe that I thought was perfect with this photo and backed the letters with papers from both collections. I trimmed a piece of white cardstock down to 11x11 and adhered to one of the pattern papers from the Home Sweet Home collection.
I popped everything up on some foam adhesive to give a little bit of dimension to the layout. I pulled embellishments from both collections and also stickers from the Word Salad sticker book and Star Student 12x12 Treasures & Text.
I also added a fun Scrappin Happy Studio sun epoxy for another punch of yellow. I love all the summer colors in this layout and the big Ciao Chip sun from Splash Zone is adorable! Here is a look at my completed layout.
