Hello Bella Blvd Friends! It's Leanne here today sharing a quick and easy project that's bound to make someone happy all day! Using the gorgeous new Plaids and Dotty collection I have created mini envelopes which will house an encouraging note and some sweet treats. Perfect for leaving a little sunshine in someone's day!
To create these envelopes, gather your supplies and start with a 6"x6" piece of patterned paper. Using a template, make a selection of brightly coloured envelopes as your base pocket/gift holder. Leave one of the shorter ends open, much like a library card pocket.
Once the envelope bases have been made, they can be personalised and embellished any way you desire. Other bits and pieces I've included are cute clips, Bella Bows, Pom Pom clips, Designer Tape and Puffy Stickers.
When embellishing these envelopes, I followed a few simple steps.
step 1. Create your own mini tag using Secrets of the Sea (Boy) mini paper pad and stamp the sentiment. The Illustrated Faith Elements clear stamp was stamped first in a coordinating colour, allowed to dry and then layered with Illustrated Faith Bright and Brave clear stamp "Choose Happy".
step 2. Wrap the envelope with designer tape close to the top. Be mindful not to adhere the opening closed!
step 3. Add twine or string and attach the tag.
step 4. Embellish further with a pom pom clip, cute clip or Bella Bow in a matching colour to the envelope.
step 5. Complete the decoration of the envelope by adhering puffy stickers on both the envelope and the tag.
I hope these little pockets of happiness have now inspired you to share some love with someone who needs their day brightened. Thanks for visiting..x
