This week on the Bella team, it's all about fussy-cutting, and I couldn't be more happy about that! Fussy-cutting is one of my absolute favorite things to do! I did something a little different this time for my fussy-cutting. Normally I would gravitate towards cutting illustrations to use as ephemera, but today I chose to fussy cut a geometric pattern from the IF All People All Nations collection!
I cut out these amazing little rectangle shapes from the "My Foundation" patterned paper. I then ran them through my sewing machine to create some garland. I wanted to string them along my Bible page, and I'm pretty smitten with the explosion of color it created!
I used my double-adhesive roller to adhere each piece down where I liked it. I then tucked in a few abstract floral pieces from the All People All Nations Ephemera pack. All that was left was to add my title and a tab! I also chose to wrap the ends of the garland thread around 2 buttons from my stash.
Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you get your hands on some Heart Hugs for all your card-making endeavors, because they are just the cutest! xo Lydia |
