Hello, everyone! I hope you all have had an excellent start to your week! Today I wanted to share with you a layout inspired by the "Sunshine & Paradise" Acrylic word from the Island Escape Collection. I had this sweet blown up photo of my son looking into the sky, and I wanted to write a little letter to him talking about all the moments that feel like absolute "sunshine and paradise" to me.
I pulled from my entire Bella Blvd arsenal for this layout, but I tried to keep my main patterned papers from the new collections. Because my son was looking up, I just felt like this whole layout would be filled with clouds and sunshine. I started by water-coloring and hand-stitching two clouds to layer around. I then set about hand cutting and measuring triangles to my page to create a central focal point. I knew I would want to position my acrylic word at an angle in the top corner, so the triangles were perfect!
I have always been a fan of stitching, so I filled this layout with all kinds of stitching! I think it gives any layout tons of dimension and character, which I love!
