Hello, February! It's Marla here. Lately, I've been finishing up the last of our scrapbook pages for our 2017 family photo book. I love a detailed page with lots of layers and papers, but sometimes you just need a simple pocket page that shows off your pictures!
Today, I'm going to walk you through my process to make a simple digital pocket page.
First, I drag and drop the pictures into my digital templates. I keep these templates handy with my favorite shadows and white background paper since I return to them over and over.
Next, I opened my files for the Mind Your Manners collection (which is totally adorable) and added some background papers and cards to my pocket page.
Then I opened up my elements folder and started layering different word strips and stickers onto the page. The goals is to simply accent the pictures- not overwhelm them with scrapbooking supplies.
Finally, I decided to add a cute little cluster over that empty pocket page for interest. I added drop shadows to make them more realistic.
