Happy National Handwriting Day. It's Kelly here today sharing a Bible Journaling entry using the Created to Create Devotional kit.
The devotional from the kit brings us to 1 Timothy 4:14-15, which tells us to neglect not our gifts. I love how this devotional encourges creativity whether we are confident in this area or not...we should at least try. I feel like the same is true for our handwriting. It so important to document things in your own handwriting - it's part of your legacy! We shouldn't be afraid to write love notes to our Heavenly Father because we are afraid it will not be good enough.
For my title in this entry, I started lightly with pencil. This way, you can erase and start over if you need to. In the final steps, I always make the lines thicker, and fill in with pen to add interest. Another way to make it interesting, is to use different "fonts". I mixed different sized printing with a little bit of cursive. Finally, I added a little bit of color by tracing around some of the letters and journaling with colored pens.
I topped it all off with cute embellishments from kit and a pompom!
