Bella Blvd Studio Blog: Pennants! Pennants! Rah! Rah! Rah!

Hi, friends! Jana Eubank here. I am crushing on the new felt pennants that have come out with each of the new Bella Blvd. collections. I love their fuzzy, felt texture, and the sweet sentiments on each of them. I grouped a couple of them together on this page about my husband and I using the Mind Your Manners collection. Let's take a closer look!

I went with a grid design for this page, utilizing the cut apart cards from the Daily Details paper. It made quick work of my page design, so that I could get down to my favorite part of creating a page ... the embellishing!

In the top left of the page, I used the card with the house on it. I wanted to add a bit more dimension to the page, so I layered an Ephemera house right over the pre-printed house. It worked perfectly! I also added the "Home" word at the bottom, and a couple of Puffy Heart stickers in McIntosh and Punch.

I added journaling to the center card and then had fun decorating the green "Together is Our Favorite Place" card on the right side of the page. I grouped together the gray flower and little mushroom die cuts and then sprinkled three puffy heart stickers above. The center of the flower and the dots on the border sticker above get a bit of dimension with some enamel dots from my scrappy stash.

I added the felt pennant stickers to bamboo skewers that I cut down using a pair of scissors. I tied them together with a bit of green ribbon ... I love the way they point to the photo, drawing your eye immediately to what is most important on this page!
