Hey there Bella Blvd friends and fans, Becki here to share with you a layout I created by mixing and matching many different collections. One thing I love about Bella Blvd products is that I can pick any collection and know that the colors will always coordinate perfectly. To start this layout, I gathered a LOT of red, white and blue supplies. It was so nice not to worry about if the shades of red or blue would match perfectly with the products I had already chosen! The background I chose for this layout is a light blue plaid from the Popsicles and Pandas collection. I knew many of the elements that I would be bringing onto the page would be colorful and bold so I wanted a softer background. There are 3 photos on this layout. The theme of these photos isn't completely clear at first glance. The only way you can tell they are July 4th themed photos is if you read the captions on our tshirts. Because the theme of the photos isn't bold, I wanted the title to be bold. To make the title bold, I put it in the center of the page, added large letters AND backed the entire title with dark patterned papers. By making the title bold and colorful, it makes the theme of the layout much clearer. With a bold colorful title, I only had to add a few supporting embellishments to make the layout come together. The "Sparkle & Shine" acrylic words made the perfect title for a July 4th layout. All I had to do was add a small chipboard ampersand and my title was complete.
Next time, you have photos that don't show a clear theme right off the bat, try creating a big bold title. Creating a big bold title is an easy way to make the theme of the layout perfectly clear. Thank you for stopping by the Bella Blvd blog. Have a happy and safe July 4th holiday!
