Good Morning guys, and happy Monday! Stephanie here today sharing the layout I made for the "scrap your faith" theme we have this week. For me making sure to document my relationship with God is so important, I want to make sure that when my son looks back on all our memories he can see how God loves us and works in our everyday lives and not just in church on Sunday. There are many other reasons, but that's an important one to me for sure.
I started my layout by cutting out a pie chart from different pieces of patterned papers, and then aligning it on the left of my page leaving it kind of hanging off. After I got everything where I wanted it I simply trimmed off the extra pieces and glued it all down.
Now I must add that I always forget to run my paper through my typewrite before I start gluing paper down, so once again I had to cross my fingers that things were not going to get stuck in there and ruin my page (so psst...make that step one). After I got my journaling on the bottom part of my layout I added some strips of washi and fixed any spelling mistakes by adding corrected words on top.
Next I added my photos, title and embellishments, moving things around until I was happy with it. I really liked the pop of color that the Puffy Cross Stickers added, it was a fun way to put a bunch of them to use on a page.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope that you've been inspired to scrap your faith and make such an important part of our lives included in your scrapbooking. Have a great day everyone!
Stephanie
