"Growing Up Fast" Layout by Amy Heller
Today, I created a page using lots of papers from the Make Your Mark, Popsicles and Pandas and Secrets of the Sea collections. I wanted to showcase all the beautiful blues, greens, teals, and turquoises throughout these collections, playing off the blue sky in the photo and the teal color in my daughter's hair.
I used the stars and hearts, using all the varieties of colors in each of the puffy sticker mixes to emphasize the colors throughout the page, varying the sizes and shapes adding interest and dimension.
I used a white cardstock and white puffy alphas for my title work - creating a subtle statement, while bringing attention to my photo. I love how the simple dimension adds a shadow that creates just enough contrast to bring attention to the white on white title, but doesn't overpower the page - making the photo the focus opposed to the title.
