Hello Hello! Stephanie here today sharing a cute little home decor project I made using the new Acrylic Words and some Seeds of Faith patterned papers. When I saw this Boxwood cut file in the Silhouette shop I knew it would be perfect for this piece.
The green Isaiah 40:8 paper in the Seeds of Faith collection was the perfect paper to mix with my green cardstock, so I laid all my paper out and decided which should go where and started running them through the Silhouette.
After I got all my leaves cut I started layering them together around the circle cut provided and gluing them down. I tried my best to mix the colors in well so they were all spread out equally. After all the leaves were dry I tried to ben the leaves upwards to give it a more realistic look.
Because this piece is most likely going to hang in the den near the family computer I wanted to keep it simple and clean looking to try and match the rest of our decor in there. I added the picture of my husband and son playing catch outside and really like how the black and white photo goes with the green wreath and the burlap background of the frame.
Lastly I added in the "gratitude" Acrylic word. I like how it not only finishes off the piece perfectly but also adds another texture to my project.
This just goes to show that the new Acrylic Words can be used in so many different ways! I love being able to get the most out of product that I love and making my home a little prettier along the way.
Thanks for stopping by!
