Hi everyone! It's Marla here and today I will be sharing a page from my baby boy's first birthday photoshoot.
! I think that title-work can really set a page apart and finish it off. Of course, sometimes by the time I get a layout almost done, I have zero energy left to make an elaborate title. Thankfully, these acrylic word stickers make title work SUPER EASY.
First, here's my finished page.
I hadn't scrapped any pictures from Teddy's birthday photoshoot, so I thought this would be a great opportunity. For this page, I decided to use the Illustrated Faith Basics collection because I love the colors and was dying to use some of those adorable hexagons!
For this page, I really wanted the focus to be on the adorable picture, so I went with a neutral background paper and framed all the elements and papers around the picture.
I cut several of the patterned papers into this chevron pattern and placed them on either side of the picture. Next, I started layering some of the hexagons in groups of three- making sure to apply their own realistic drop shadows.
Finally, I added a acrylic word sticker that says "be you" over the bottom of Teddy's picture. I added the little arrow because I wanted to accent the title work. In the last minute, I decided to add some alpha stickers across the top making the title say "always be you." I like how the bright yellow pops against the white background paper!
