There is a little room project beginning here in our home. The thirteen year old is long over do for some room love. As her desk area is next on the list, I've been thinking through some #deskgoals with her. Jamie here, and I am super excited to share an idea with you today using the ever so lovely new Bella collection, Make Your Mark.

That girl, like her mom, is very visual. She needs to see all the things. This includes inspirational words and phrases to remind her and her sweet teenager mind that she has choices and can believe in her self and her abilities.
I wanted to use a grid we literally had laying around, and utilize it for an inspiration type board.

This board is now home to tags and cut-aways from the Make Your Mark collection that speaks right into her heart and soul.

What a beautiful sentiment this is staring my daughter right into her mind, Be Impossible To Forget. I have to say, if I can relay to her and the rest of my kids the power they have to add significance to others by caring and being kind and speaking words of love...well then...my work here will be done!
This cut-away is found on the Daily Details pattern paper. I love word art like this. The cut-aways would be perfect in any and all paper projects like cards, scrapbook pages, and even a planner.

This collection is brimming with these powerful words. And all of it finds it's home with watercolor splashes and beautiful touches of gold foil. To say I am smitten by this collection would not be an overstatement of fact.

A paper frame that I included here is trimmed out from one of the pattern papers, Borders. This frame is home to one of my favorite photos of this girl and her sisters. Because that sister love is powerful. And I want her to have it always in her sight.

I also created a desk calendar with a printable I found online.

The 'shine' is a new Acrylic Word that I thought fit beautifully with the sentiment of this desk theme.

This sentiment, Believe in Yourself, is found on one of the Make Your Mark Gift Tags. I altered it a bit as I wanted to stay with the pink and black and white. It's a fabulous fit for the theme of this board.

It's important to keep positive messages in front of not only ourselves, but our kids too. Make Your Mark is the collection that is accomplishing this task in a beautiful setting for my daughter. It's colors are on trend. It's mood is upbeat. And it's message is for now and always.
