Hey Bella Blvd friends and family, Becki here. Who loves washi tape? I know I do. When I heard that Bella Blvd was coming out with washi stickers in booklets I was thrilled. Not only are washi booklets easier to store but it's like having several different rolls of washi for the price of one. Here's the layout I created to share with you today.
I used 3 different packages of washi stickers to create this layout.
I covered three 3x3 squares of white cardstock with washi strips. I placed the strips on an angle and used these squares as a base for my embellishments and journaling.
I left one of the squares with minimal embellishment so that the washi strips could shine. On this square I simply wrapped it with white crochet thread. I stapled the thread to the square and adhered it to the base of my layout.
I also created a long skinny strip of washi to go along the right side of my photos. I added this strip to balance the layout and add some color to the top of the layout since there was so much color at the bottom of the layout.
The patterned paper, stickers, and embellishments I used on this layout are all from the Alex collection. Since my layout is all about boys, the Alex collection is a perfect fit!
I stamped the title "5 boys" on a piece of grey paper from the Alex 6x8 paper pad using the Illustrated Faith alphabet stamps and black ink. I fussy cut around the stamped title and adhered it to the layout with foam adhesive.
I hope you've been inspired to grab some washi stickers and add them to your layouts. Thanks for stopping by the Bella Blvd blog. I'll see you again soon!

This is really cute, I just love the technique of wrapping the washi tape on the squares. Really great layout!
