Hello Bella Friends! I am back on the blog sharing a cheerful layout I created using almost all the Gift Tags in the Holly Jolly Collection. I opened all the Gift Tag files into Photoshop and placed them onto the green and white polka dot paper. Once I had them positioned and resized to my liking, I resized it all and placed all the Layers onto the red and white striped patterned paper.
Then the fun started as I added festive photos to some of the tags. I use Photoshop Styles to create shadows to make my digital layers look more realistic. Styles are the best! One click in Photoshop and you have shadows!
I grouped together some coordinating embellishments in the corner of this tag.
I clipped patterned paper to the Holly Jolly alphabets to change the look. I love that you can alter the look and size of just about any digital element!
Here is your friendly reminder to not forget those small gifts for teachers and such! In my part of the world, the school year actually finishes in December so to me it's so important to give my kids' teachers a gift not only to wish them a Merry Christmas but also to thank them for all the hard work they have done for my kids during the year! I have a few ideas to share with you today, not only for the gifts themselves but also for simple and fun ways to package them up using the Holly Jolly Christmas collection! So let's take a look!
I had three gifts to prepare this year and I did something a little different for each. The first one I want to share is a 'gift in a jar'. This is one of my favorite ways to give a teacher gift - something small that fits into a jar for gorgeous presentation!
I found a nice hand cream and manicure set that fit into my jar nicely. Other ideas include chocolates, candy or cookies, stationery, coffee/tea pack or bath products.
A jar such as this is so easy to embellish to give it that extra impact! I tied some tulle around mine and added a decorative tag. I layered two tags from the Gift Tags set along with some patterned paper strips and stickers from the Fundamentals sheet.
For my next teacher gift, I purchased a movie gift card! Gift cards are another easy gift that I'm sure the recipient will love! I popped the gift card into a spotted kraft bag (from my stash) and used Washi Stickers to close it up. Again, I layered two Gift Tags and tied them around the top with twine and ribbon and to finish off, I added a few die cuts from the Paper Pieces to the bottom corner of the bag! So cute!
And for my final gift, I went to my boutique stationery stationery store (Kikki-K) and picked out a gorgeous to-do list pad and pen. The stationery section or store is a great place to pick up teacher gifts! From to-do lists, notebooks, diaries and pens, I'm sure any teacher would appreciate these gifts!
To dress up this gift, I simply cut a strip of patterned paper to be a "band" around the gift. I then wrapped some twine around it and added my layered gift tags to the centre with some ribbon. For a fun extra touch, I used some small bits of the Washi Stickers to create a banner on the twine! I love how this turned out!
I hope I have given you some ideas to help you out for teacher gifts this year! And with some simple and fun touches you can turn any small or inexpensive gift into a thing of beauty that anyone would love to receive! It brings me so much joy to give gifts chosen and packaged with care and thought!
Supplies: Holly Jolly Christmas: Sweater Weather; Fundamentals; 6x8" Paper Pads; Gift Tags; Washi Stickers; Paper Pieces
Hello! Stephanie here today sharing a cute little gift tag set I made using the new Holly Jolly Christmas collection. I am so excited that the holiday season is here and I'm slowly getting the house all decorated, I just love this time of year.
One of my favorite things about Christmas is gift giving, I always have so much fun picking out our wrapping paper and dressing up each gift just right. I thought it would be fun to make these up ahead of time to have on hand for something a little extra special for the ones I love.
For this set of six gift tags I mainly used the Holly Jolly Christmas collection. Not only do I love the colors, but using the same line keeps them all looking alike (which I like under the tree). I plan to use the red twine that came in the gift tag set to wrap them onto the gifts or tied in a little loop or bow.
One of my favorite parts of paper crafting or scrapbooking is layering, so I just grabbed the coordinating Paper Pieces and Fundamentals and got to work. I used some Tiny Text sheets to add the "To" and "From" on some of the tags that had enough space, or didn't already have a place to write that info.
To finish off my tags I ran them through the sewing machine to give them a more finished look, then added any Enamel Dots.
Overall I think this is something that you could use any of the new Gift Tag sets to make, Christmas themed or not they would be so handy to have at the ready. I hope you'll give them a try!
-Stephanie.

Hi there friends! I am excited to be on the Bella Blvd blog today sharing a bit about the Illustrated Faith starter kit! To be honest this was the first big project we worked on as a team with Bella Blvd, DaySpring and Illustrated Faith and it is so AMAZING to see what a team can do working together, everyone sharing their ideas, putting in their input and making sure we come out with one amazing product at the end! We wanted to give you guys a kit that would work for those just getting started or those that have already fallen head over heels in love with bible journaling, and I know that is just what we ended up with..... all in this ADORABLE box!!!
Before I share a page I create using the kit I wanted to share with you a bit behind what is included in the kit.
I know we are aren't supposed to play favorites but the devotional booklet in this kit might be my favorite of all time. I love that it really walks you through ways to illustrate your faith, through prayer, song, scripture etc! Lots of ideas to get you started and keep you going! Also, can I just mention how CUTE the little doodles inside are? I love every bit!!!
We wanted to make sure to include some of my favorite and most used tools for bible journaling. My favorite journaling pen perfect for print making, and of course.... journaling, a bible paint mat and of course paint and paint cards! Seriously with these tools alone you can journal for days and worship in color!
STICKERS!!!! Apparently I am still a third grade little girl because #stickersaremylovelanguage !!! I just love how easy they are to use and add that little pop of color on any project! The stickers included in this kit are just perfect for bible journaling with a huge variety from wordfetti stickers, label stickers and alpha sticker to my favorite tabs and more!
Paper bits and washi tape and the icing on the cake! Can we talk for a moment about these adorable little washi tape dispensers? SO.STINKIN.CUTE and I Love the new colorways on our favorite designs! The paper bits are perfect when you need a little inspiration or design direction, and we have included a bible verse on the back of each one to lead you in the word for a great jumping off point! Last but not least we wanted to make sure to include some idea starters for us visual learners having something right there in your kit with ideas and directions on how to use all these wonderful tools in this wonderful kit!! I honestly love this kit to pieces and am so excited to see it in your hands with HUGE smiles on your faces!!!! I personally have loved breaking it open and using it my daily bible journaling! I wanted to share one of my latest entries using the kits to show you just how easy and FUN this can be!
One of the things that I think hold people back from enjoying bible journaling is overthinking it. Yes we should ENJOY worship, YES it's ok to have FUN while you read the bible, YES it's ok to paint in your bible :) For my entry today I pulled out that sweet little speech bible right away and ALWAYS love a good speech bubble ( are we together on that one?) and right when I saw it 1 Samuel 3 came to mind! To start off I grabbed my bible mat and added a little paint to the background, I find that doing this right when you start can really help get the creativity going and take away that "white page" syndrome of not wanting to "ruin" the page. From there I put the speech bible right on top with a heart (because we can always use a heart!!) and some of the wordfetti stickers that I pulled from reading the verse. The big idea that I was pulling out of the words is "Speak, I will listen" so I wanted to make sure that was big on the page when I turn to this verse! This is where those awesome alphabet stickers come to use! Once I finished that I wrap it up with some journaling, date (one of the most important bits in my opinion!) and a tab at the top! Once I looked ver the page I realized that my eye kept drifting back to the white space on the speech bubble and while I love some white space I decided it needed a little something extra so I torn off a single amen from the washi tape and it was the perfect touch! Seriously #alltheamens, right!
One of the biggest things I hear about bible journaling is "I wish I could find time for that" - well friends with the starter kit there are seriously no excuses, all your supplies are in one place and we all have 15 mins a day to spend some time in the word!! I hope you have the most fantastic day! . . . . . . .

A very happy Thanksgiving to all of our American friends! Today I'm sharing two cards featuring Bella's 6 x 8 Paper Pads. And what better day to also feature cards that celebrate "Thankfulness" than this day, specifically set aside to reflect on gratefulness!
For my first card, I started with a clear background piece from the IF You Are Loved 6 x 8 Clear Cuts Paper Pad. All of Bella's pretty colors lines up in a row like this makes me extremely happy! :-) For my focal image, I created a cascade of coordinating leaves (which were die cut from the Oh My Stars 6 x 8 Paper Pad). The cute polka dot background layer is actually an Oh My Stars Gift Tag, cut down just a little.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word out of black cardstock four different times. I adhered them all together, giving the sentiment more dimension, as well as making it sturdier. That is important as I smeared glue over the whole top of the sentiment and then sprinkled black glitter on top. The extra layers underneath keep the sentiment from warping. I finished the card off with an She Blooms Mix Enamel Heart.

Thank you cards are definitely the ones I find myself needing the most. Showing gratitude with something heartfelt and handmade is so important to me! For my card, I chose papers entirely from the Addison 6 x 8 Paper Pad. The fun colors and patterns mix so well! I embellished with some stickers from the Addison Fundamentals sheet as well as one of the Addison Designer Clips.
The cute feathers (from the Addison Paper Pieces pack) were the perfect addition to my patterned paper banner! I complimented the sticker sentiment with some stamped sentiments.

November is the month to "give thanks". Although I think for the most part we give thanks all year long, but a month or even just the week of Thanksgiving is the perfect time to reflect on what we give thanks for. It's a reminder to focus on the everyday and take pride in what we do and what we have.
I am focusing on being thankful for "Home". I took a walk around our yard and captured a few of the things that represent our home right now.
As the journaling reads : " HOME. I am forever thankful for our home. Not just the house we live in, but the land we live on. The land we are blessed to raise our animals on & the dirt we grow our food in. I’m thankful for the wood that heats our home & the hard work that goes into it. I’m thankful for waking up here every morning & the warm sun glowing over us as we call it a day. Live is good. It really, really is. "
The layout design begins with a simple grid of those photos on a white background.
I then brought in a few of the paper pad pieces from the Digital IF Basics collections to create a border on both sides.
Next up, the title work. My favorite part of designing a page. This alphabet comes from the digital IF Bright & Brave Collection.
Onto embellishing and layering!
And of course finished up with journaling.
Happy Thankgiving & I can't wait to hear what you guys are creating with the beautiful new Bella collections!
Hey there, Bella fans! Missy here, and this week we are creating projects with the 6x8 Paper Pads and celebrating Thankfulness. There couldn't be anything I'm more thankful for than my sweet girls. I began this layout with my photo. The colors in my daughter's shirt inspired me to go bright and bold with my color scheme, so I pulled out several 6x8 Paper Pads from some of the new Bella collections. I found this beautiful heart cut file from the Just Nick store. One of my favorite things to do with 6x8 papers is using them to back cut files. Usually with the smaller papers, the patterns are smaller, so they look great like this. I used papers from Illustrated Faith You Are Loved and Bright & Brave as well as Addison and Alex. I love mixing and matching different collections to create my pages. You can always count on all the Bella lines to work well together. Here you can see how cute the papers look behind the hearts. I added in some of the You Are Loved die cuts and a few of the Clear Cut designs. They make great embellishments. This floral piece is so beautiful. Here you can also see the dimension I created by adding thin foam adhesive under the hearts. I also did a little bit of watercolor work on the background to add in varying shades of pink and orange. Here's another clear cut. Fussy cutting the shapes is very easy. I made this "love" part of my title and added a die cut sticker to complete it. I added some tangled thread in various places under the hearts to add some color pops and texture. I also used some of the 6x8 papers to layer behind my photos. That's another great thing about the smaller papers. They make great layering pieces! I added a few more Elements Cardstock Stickers here from You Are Loved as well as another Clear Cut heart that I stapled onto the photo. Here you can also see some of the machine stitching I did on a few of the die cut hearts. I love how stitching adds such great detail. Here's one more close up of the hearts. You can sort of see some of the thin foam under there. I used a yellow thread to stitch on this heart and then I added a cute heart die cut right on top. This was such a fun page to put together! The 6x8 Paper Pads make creating lots of fun, and you really can do so much with them. You don't always have to have 12x12 papers to make something awesome!
Here's my process video if you'd like to see how I put this page together. I hope you enjoy and get some inspiration from it!
Supplies Used:
IF You Are Loved: Eden Paper, 6x8 Paper Pad, Elements Cardstock Stickers, Paper Pieces, Clear Cuts Pad; IF Bright & Brave: 6x8 Paper Pad; Addison: 6x8 Paper Pad; Alex: 6x8 Paper Pad
Hello everyone, my name is Eva Pizarro and I am thrilled to be guest designing for Bella Blvd today! I'm 35 years old and live in Santiago, Chile with my husband Marco and my son Lorenzo. I knew scrapbooking in 2007 while I was living in Italy and since then I haven't stopped! I love to be able to create something beautiful and creative everyday! I love playing with colors and paper and having some me time during the day. I also love to keep my family memories and leave a part of myself in my project's journaling. Often my projects tell how I fell, my fears and joys and I love that my future generation are going to be able to get to know me better reading our history.
I love the mix of colors included in Bella Blvd’s collections, looking at the papers from the Oh My Stars! Collection I knew I had to use them for a rainbow look project. I started my layout with a design cut with my cameo and arranged strips of patterned paper on the back.
To embellish I added some stickers and die cuts with a tone on tone technique. The title in black really pops with that colored background
As soon as I opened the Tabbies package from the Alex collection I told myself: “I need to display them on a layout!” The dimension of the tabbies is amazing, thick but still functional to work as a paper clip. I cut different 2 x 2 pieces of patterned paper and arrange them on a grid design
I used black and white photos to match my color scheme and a mix of die cuts, stickers and washi tapes to embellish each square.
For this layout I also played with a particular embellishment: the paper pieces from the Holly Jolly Christmas collection. The designs are super cute and I couldn`t decide which ones to use so I decided to make a tree and use as many as possible!
I cut my pictures on different circle sizes to fit my tree and to make them pop I added them with some 3D dots.
I had so much fun working with Bella Blvd collections! I know you will too! Thank you so much for reading my post and a HUGE thanks to Bella Blvd for having me on the blog today.
