Hey Bella Blvd friends and family, Becki here, to celebrate National Pumpkin Day with you. I thought a layout about our family's trip to the pumpkin patch would be perfect to share today. I used the new Oh My Stars collection, the Alex collection, and (of course) the new Spooktacular collection to create this layout. My favorite thing about Bella Blvd products is that they coordinate SO well with each other. I know that no matter which collection I want to work with, the colors will always coordinate with products from other collections. So, creating with the Oh My Stars collection and the Spooktacular collection and the Alex collection was a piece of cake. Not once did I worry about the products I chose would "go together."
On the day I took these two photos at a pumpkin patch, it was a spur of the moment, short trip. These were the only two photos I took. My kids were being so silly playing in the wood cut outs. I love the silly grins on their faces. I made a mat for my photos out of patterned paper and tags from the gift tags. I am a huge fan of tags. I can't even tell you how excited I was to see Bella Blvd manufacturing tags with their most recent collections.
The title of this layout is spelled out with alpha stickers from the fundamentals sticker sheet (from the Spooktacular collection). I love the bold black title that stretches across the whole layout.
Above the title (and in the title) I added some jack-o-lantern die cuts from the Spooktacular collection. I mean, how could I do a layout about a trip to the pumpkin patch and not have any pumpkins on the page!
On most of my projects the finishing touch is machine stitching. This layout was no different. I added black machine stitching on a few spots around the layout. And just like that, this layout is complete.
How are you celebrating National Pumpkin Day? Thanks for stopping by the Bella Blvd blog.
Oh My Stars: Gift Tags, Borders, Orange Stars, McIntosh Stars; Spooktacular: Washi Stickers, Fundamentals Stickers, Tabbies, Paper Pieces, Designer Clips; Alex: Borders
