I am in love. Again. Like…swoonable love. I am in love with the You Are Loved Illustrated Faith Collection that is new this season.
Hey, this is Jamie, and I am here to say the entire collection is just simply so beautiful. Lots of great patterns that I fell for quick. It’s great when a collection can do that. This collection had me even before I had it in my hands. Images online alone convinced me that this was a must have Illustrated Faith collection of lovliness.
From the Paper Pieces to the Clear Cuts Pad. If you do indeed find yourself the lucky owner of these patterns and images, you will have a serious hoarding issue to contend with. But let's be strong, girls. Because it can only truly be enjoyed if it is actually used. Can I get an amen?
Being still a bit of a newbie in the Bible journaling world, I found working with You Are Loved allowed me to create very easily. The pieces literally fell into place for me. Well...ok...let's be honest here...maybe not literally. But it sort of felt as much.
This is sort of a concept I am playing with over and over, but here I trimmed out patterns from the Paper Pad and layered them together for some dimension. I am finding I am most comfortable thinking through Bible journaling almost exactly like scrapbooking.
Bible journaling I am finding for some can be intimidating. Like...where does one even start. I decided to just do what I know. And I know scrapping and card making. So for now, while I grow into this very addicting creative excercise, I am going to simply use what I know and simply grow at my own pace.
Enjoying this concept with a collection that really speaks to you helps the possibly intimidating process too. You Are Loved is a most lovely collection. Find it soon. And enjoy the process.
Supplies:
You Are Loved: Paper Pad, Tabbies, Paper Pieces, Designer Clips. Basics: Clear Stamps: Icons, Elements, Homespun Alphabet.
I cant even begin to tell you how blessed I was with this entry. I follow Bible Journaling and people who create such gorgeous art...and I sometimes struggle with "Keeping Up with the Jones"
Your words set me free....
I am a scrapbooker and a cardmaker and I keep a journal but for some reason I never allowed myself to put them into my Bible Journaling...it was like I kept them separate.
Thank you so much...I am sure it the Lord that reveals such goodness in our lives. Blessings! Margi Elena
