For me, there is nothing better than a comforting cup of coffee, a photo or two, and beautiful papers to create with. Created to create...with coffee in hand. Yep. That's the ideal morning for me.
I took a photo of my doing just what I described. That moniker, Pray. Coffee. Repeat. Yep. That would be me. I'm a praying girl. I'm a coffee girl. And I do both very often.
It is a fundamental belief of mine that creativity is really an important part of our lives. Telling little stories like how much we love coffee, and making that all pretty with pattern papers and tabbies and washi and stamps. It's very therapeutic.
Today's post includes a process video. It's hyperlapse. But in actuality, this was one of those layouts that simply made itself.
Choosing mostly the black and white pattern papers, I decided to pop the rest of the layout with pink. I love that contrast against the white background of the layout. Staying with a few colors allows for lots of layers and elements to be added. It was simply a joy to play with this collection and just have fun. It was for sure a creative exercise.
So here's my challenge. If you're a coffee lover. If you are a paper nerd. And if you love taking time to get a little creative, well grab a cuppa, Bright and Brave, and scrap a fav photo today. Enjoy.

Lucky us! Jamie even created a process video to go with her project today. Take a look! :)
