Hi there friends! Are you all settled into the fall weather, pumpkin spice everything and cozy sweaters? Here in the pacific northwest we are well on our way!
Fall is one of my favorite times to be crafty and worship Jesus in color through bible journaling!! Today I wanted to share of my favorite supplies that I pull when I am working through a kit.
Our bible journaling kits come with some AMAZING supplies but when I get a new kit I always love to pull additional supplies out of my stash to have on hand and together with the kit!
If I had to pick just three items to pair with my monthly kit (and seriously you are twisting my arm here because I love them all!!!)
- Paper Pieces (especially the icons!!!) I am loving the new Bright & Brave paper pieces! Seriously HOW CUTE is that typewriter! I love keeping my entries pretty simple when I am bible journaling daily so a simple icon at the top is the perfect way to top off a little heartfelt journaling, so simple but it just makes my heart sing!
- Alphabet Stickers! From the 12x12 sticker sheets to the homespun alphabet stickers I find alphas a must have as I work through a new bible journaling kit! They are great for adding titles to the top of your entries reminding you of the big take aways from that month’s devotional. When each kit arrives I pull alphabets that match well with that month’s colors and I am good to go!
3. TABBIES & Designer Clips!!!! Seriously can we talk about the tabbies & designer clips? I am smitten!!!! One of the things that I love doing after I work through each day in the devotional is adding a visual reminder to the top of my page so that as I see it peeking out of my bible later that day I can quickly remember what I was working on that day. The tabbies and designer clips are just PERFECT for this and make it so easy! MY favorite thing about the designer clips is they sit just above the paper tabbies protecting them from getting bent ( because if you are anything like me you throw your bible in your purse, in the car seat next to you, in your luggage and doesn’t sit on a bookshelf untouched ) seriously, if you haven’t checked these out yet, give them a try, you will LOVE them!
So there you have it, my top 3 goodies to pull out as I work through the latest bible journaling kits! What are yours? Do you love making a kit to work through the 14 day devotionals or do you pull supplies each day?
I hope you have a fantastic day!
