We hope you're ready to be inspired! All week long, we will be providing you with inspiration straight from the Bella booth at the recent SPC show, showcasing our new 2016 summer release collections and new products.
“So Very Happy Together”, by Stephanie Buice.
The new Oh My Stars collection is filled with way more that your basics. Hiding behind each piece of the Bella classic colored stars, are fun new patterns that make any “B Side” loving heart content. I was so excited to get to play with all the new designs so I decided to try and fit as many as I could onto my layout.
I chose to use a picture of my honey and I at the beach, we rarely take selfies so this one I kinda treasure. I like how the colors in the photo went with the fun feel of the collection. I decided to do a little lift of one of my other layouts because I’m always happy with the design and find that each time it’s used with a different collection I get a unique look. I cut my patterned papers and then went over them with the sewing machine.
For my title I cut my letters by hand then sewed them in place, after that I added in the some chipboard and tiny text to fill in my missing words. I mixed in a few embellishments and paper pieces to add a bit more interest. I gave a final splash of black ink then added in some black Enamel Dots.

“Love Summer “, by Becki Adams.
The brand new Oh My Stars collection is a must have basic collection. It will work for any occasion. I chose to document these adorable photos of my nephew's first experience with bubbles. The bright bold colors are perfect for these photos.
I may have gone a little bit overboard with the new Designer Clips on this layout but I love these cute plastic clips. I love how they made these basic patterned paper strips into a gorgeous cluster of embellishments.
I'll be using them again and again - not just on scrapbooking projects but on cards and in my planner too.
Supplies:
Oh My Stars: Gulf Stars, Borders, Bell Pepper Stars, Punch Stars, Paper Pieces, Colorful Tabbies, Fundamentals, 6x8 Paper Pad, Colorful Designer Clips, Black and White Designer Clips; Ciao Chip Scripts: Today; Cute Clips: Baby Girl; Enamels DooDads: Blueberry
“Today’s Adventures”, by Stephanie Buice.
Bella’s Chip Scripts embellishments have got to be one of my favorites. I love that they are white and have a matte finish so that allows pretty much any medium to stick to them, they take color so well which makes your altering possibilities endless! Mixing them with the new Oh My Stars collection was so fun, I loved that I could add in all the color my little heart desired.
For this layout I simply painted strips of color down my page using a mix of watercolors and mists, then I placed my chipboard on top and finished painting it to match.
After it was all dry I sewed it all in place. I mixed in lots of the patterned papers from the new Oh My Stars collection, the 6x8 paper pad made this super easy! I added in a few embellishments from the Paper Pieces and Tabbies and finished it off with adding a pink bow from a Cute Clip to one of the new Designer Clips.
