“Merry Christmas 2015”, by Stephanie Buice.
The new Holly Jolly Christmas collection actually had me saying “oh my stars!!” I was so happy to see the addition of the navy blue! I love how it kind of grounds the entire collection together. The new prints and little icons in this collection are also so fun, I was so full of all the heart eyes that this one actually came together rather quickly compared to how long a layout usually takes me.
I’ve got to say that the mix of patterns in this new line did not disappoint me at all. I think that navy with the triangles is probably my favorite out of them all, yes it’s simple, but the cleanness of it makes me think I’d use it again and again (hint hint Stephanie, I want an entire 12x12 of this one ha!).
Once I got my picture chosen I added it on top of my papers and placed a mix of tabbies and Designer Clips on top of it. I added in a cute clip for good measure and to bring a bit more red up there. I added my title and a cluster of embellishments then finished my page by sewing a few things down.
Supplies:
Holly Jolly Christmas: Daily Details, Merry Merry, Sweater Weather, Paper Pieces, Washi Stickers, Tabbies, Fundamentals, Designer Clips; Enamel Dots: Cotton Candy; Enamel DooDads: McIntosh, Cotton Candy, Blue Berry; Tiny Text Alpha Stickers: White; Cute Clips: Christmas
"Just For You" card, by Becki Adams.
I love creating Christmas Cards! I always create the front of the card before I attach it to the card base. That way, if I use my sewing machine I don't have to cover up the backside of the stitching on the inside of the card. On this first card, I simply added a few loops of patterned paper around the tag. I adhered the tag to the front of the card with pop dots. A couple of enamel hearts to give this card a finishing touch.
Supplies:
Holly Jolly Christmas: 6x8 Paper Pad, Gift Tags, Fundamentals; IF Enamel Hearts: Hey Sugar Sugar, Apple of My Eye
"Santa" card, by Becki Adams.
I used another gift tag to create the "santa" card. There is some matching red string in the gift tags package. I used a few strands of that to create the bow on the top of the tag. A few small strips of patterned paper tucked under the tag made the perfect finishing touch for this card.

Holly Jolly Christmas: 6x8 Paper Pad, Gift Tags, Fundamentals; IF Enamel Hearts: Hey Sugar Sugar, Apple of My Eye
“A Haunting We Will Go” card, by Becki Adams.
Fussy cutting is one of my favorite techniques. I immediately knew that I wanted to fussy cut Frankenstein out of the 3x4 journaling card and adhere him to the front of a card with pop dots. I adhered Frankenstein to the front of the card that I had created with a few pieces of patterned paper and some stickers. To give the card added dimension I added some bakers twine and a designer clip. I can't wait to dive further into the Spooktacular collection to create even more cards and some layouts too.
Supplies:
Spooktacular: Daily Details, Pumpkin Day, Casper, Designer Clips; Enamel Dots: Guacamole
Merry Christmas such a cute line of Christmas paper and I love that navy paper with the triangle trees or whatever they can be all year long too!
Trick or Treat that tag is adorable and I am so going to make one or more for my sister who loves Halloween more then any other holiday!
