He's in his own world of technology, gaming and tv shows. Alex might not be paying much attention to Addison these days, but he's definitely eating all the junk food he can find, turning up his headphones and group texting his guy friends. This rough and tumble collection includes four double-sided patterned papers, two embellishment papers, coordinating cardstock stickers, washi stickers, Paper Pieces, 6x8" paper pad, Tabbies and Designer Clips.

I love a good boy collection, even if I don't have boys of my own! The new Alex collection has all of the colors I love, and some great patterns that I know I'll use on everyday pages as well. For this layout, I pulled all of the music-related elements from the collection. I added in small strips of the yellow and green tone-on-tone patterned papers to tie in with the colors in the headphones patterned paper and the Tabbies that I stacked along the top of the papers.
Supplies:
Alex: Turn It Up, Beast Mode, Killin It, Borders, Daily Details, Fundamentals, Paper Pieces, Tabbies; Chip Chip Scripts: Love; Tiny Text Alpha Stickers: Black, Pumpkin Spice; Enamel Dots: Blueberry, Oreo Black, Bell Pepper, Milk White, Guacamole
The new collections will begin shipping to retailers, online stores and distributors in August! Let your favorite online or local LSS know today so they can get their orders in!
Now here's your chance to win-it-before-you-can-buy-it! We are giving away the entire Alex collection to one lucky reader! Just leave us a comment, telling us what you love about this new collection. One comment per person please. Our randomly chosen winners for all of our reveal giveaways will be announced on Monday, July 11th.
This is so adorable, I can already see what I want to do with it. I especially love the clips and tabbies.

I love that this kit is geared towards boys AND that it's not just the little guys. It is so hard to find anything that can be considered relevant to our little men. On the rare occasion that you do find a line that is design with boys in mind, there is typically still either a very feminine vibe to it, it's aimed more towards babies and toddlers, or the elements are very dated. I wasn't very familiar with the Bella Blvd. line until Illustrated Faith was picked up and added to the team, but I am soooo glad that they did. Each release further solidifies that the designers are paying attention to their market.
The world of "scrapbooking" and papercrafting has really taken off the last few years and has grown to encompass so many different mediums and demographics. Unfortunately, there are so many companies that were considered the "hard-hitters" and go-to brands for all things paper that for some reason can't seem to keep up. It's like they are locked into the idea that all we want is things that are feminine, cute, old-fashioned, and almost cartoonish in nature. (Not saying that it's ALL like that, or that there is anything wrong with that particular style. I like it myself for the right project.) It's almost as if they are worried that they will offend their customers if they try something new. I'm so glad that the last two years or so has changed that for a few brands, Bella Blvd. being one the front runners.
I love having options that aren't
gender-specific, span generations, and utilizes the entire rainbow, not just the pastel range. I would have to say that this collection is definitely on my list of "must-haves" as soon as it hits the shelves, along with the others in this release. I use paper-crafting supplies any time the opportunity presents itself: memory keeping, bible journaling, journaling, planning, and decorating just about everything.
Thank you so much for giving your followers a chance to win your products before it's official release! Such generosity in a company is always a great thing and a thumbs up for me. I can't wait to see what comes next.
