“Guitar Love”, by Becki Adams.
Hey Bella Blvd fans, Becki here, to share a layout with you that I created using the Max collection. The Max collection is one of my all-time favorite collections from Bella Blvd. I have two boys in my house so I'm reaching for this collection often. As you've seen in my last post I've had a bit of an obsession with stars and hand stitching (you can find the previous post here).
The first thing I did was cut the black stars using my Silhouette Cameo and black cardstock. Once I had the black-out line cut, I filled the center of each star with patterned paper. Before I started hand stitching I sprinkled my background paper with black, navy, and yellow ink. While that was drying I stitched around a couple of the stars with white thread. Then, I adhered the entire grouping of stars to my background paper.
I tucked my photo behind the stars and adhered my chipboard title above the photo. By adding a few stickers and photo corners to the right of the photo it brought color to the right side of the layout to balance the color on the left side of the layout. The final step on the photo was to add my journaling with a black pen above the title and below the photo. I love way this layout turned out, bold and colorful, just my style.
Thanks for stopping by the Bella Blvd Blog today.
