Hi there! Laurie here again, and I’ve got some Illustrated Faith projects to share with you today!
"Love Grows Here" pocket card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
For my first project, I cut apart some of the IF She Booms Art Prints to create a fun, interactive pocket card. I am always looking for smaller sized elements that I can use on cards, and I am thrilled that there are so many included in the IF She Blooms collection! One 12” paper can be used to create several cards, making the cards not only heartfelt and unique but economical as well!
I mounted each of the Art Prints onto cardstock to not only make them sturdier, but to make it possible to write little notes of encouragement on the backs of them. There is no adhesive on the Art Prints, letting them slide easily in and out. These little notes can later be used as a bookmark as well!
I decorated the card with some coordinating stickers and Ciao Chip chipboard pieces from the IF She Blooms collection. I also sprinkled on some Illustrated Faith Enamel Heart stickers.
Supplies:
IF She Blooms: Art Prints, Treasures & Text, Chipboard Icons; IF Enamel Hearts: She Blooms Mix
When I first saw the IF Die Cut Prompts, I knew that I had to have them! They are SO cute and coordinate beautifully with almost all of the Bella Blvd collections, not to mention being perfectly sized for cards! I created a trio of smaller 4” cards featuring these IF Die Cut Prompts as the focal image.
"Light Of The World" card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
For the first one, I chose this adorable Light of the World lightbulb piece. I really wanted the yellow and white to pop, so I mounted it on a piece of the black and white striped patterned paper (the back of the She Blooms Art Prints sheet). Before adhering the lightbulb die cut, I painted on some white acrylic paint (from the IF Shanna’s Favorite Paints set), softening the pattern just a bit. For decorations, I sprinkled on some enamel stars and arrow.
Supplies:
IF She Blooms: Art Prints; IF Die Cut Prompts: Go & Tell; Illustrated Faith: Shanna’s Favorites Paint, White Little Bits; Enamel DooDads: Oreo Black
"He Will Fight For You" card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
My next card features several IF Die Cut Prompts from the Go & Tell and Go sets. The colors in these die cuts worked perfectly with the IF She Blooms - Black & White Stripe paper. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE that everything coordinates? It makes creating so easy and effortless! For a pop of color, I added a large pink enamel heart (from the She Blooms Mix).
Supplies:
IF She Blooms: BW Floral Stripe, Treasures & Text; IF Die Cut Prompts: Go & Tell, Go; IF Enamel Hearts: She Blooms Mix
"Shine Like The Stars" card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
For my final card, I started with the Shine Like the Stars die cut (from the Go & Tell Die Cut Prompts set). I pulled out paper that would coordinate, choosing the polka dot paper (IF Whatever Is Lovely - Praiseworthy) and a little strip of black and white striped paper (IF She Blooms Art Prints). I embellished the card with enamel stars, a sticker, a small piece of ribbon cut like a tag, and a couple of staples.
Supplies:
IF She Blooms: Art Prints, Treasures & Text; If Whatever Is Lovely: Praiseworthy; Enamel DooDads: Oreo Black
Oh My! I just LOVE that interactive pocket card. How did you make
that? What die cuts did you use? Please share a tutorial! 😃🌸

So so so CUTE! I just have to know how you made
that pocket card - what die cut made the pockets? Is it an MFT Dienamics?

I adore the Illustrated Faith collections for their beautiful cheery colors, but would like it even more if we could choose to buy either the religious collection or a more generic collection with the same prints but perhaps different words. The words and sentiments on the papers limit a lot which papers from the collections I can use, as I don't like making religious cards because none of my recipients are big on religion.
