Hi there sweet friends! We have been busy over on the Illustrated Faith blog and I wanted to share some fun entries that are sure to inspire you!!!
- Join Heather in this ROCKIN stamping tutorial! I love this technique from Heather one using two different ink colors to get a totally unique look while illustrating your faith!
Here is a little peek:
"It’s been so fun seeing in my Instagram feed all the listing you’re doing with the Illustrated Faith Lists by Faith kit this month. I’ve had a “late” start but I’m super excited to be working through the prompts and really diving deeper into my faith.
For the first prompt I really want to showcase the word “love” from the stamp set… because HIS LOVE is really what He is all about and what I love most about my Savior. One of my favorite techniques with stamping is “rock & roll” stamping. It works best with pigment ink and I’m so excited that the kits come with pigment ink. I took step by step pictures because I wanted to share this fun technique with you."
- I love this process video from Natalie!!!! The way she combines the abstract painting technique with the adorable stickers and lettering is PERFECTION!!! Process videos are such a fun way to learn new techniques - I could watch them all day!
A little peek into Natalie's heart behind the post :
"In my church we have regular leadership team meetings. It’s where the senior Pastors impart teaching and wisdom into the group of people who have been designated leadership roles within the church. Both the Trophy Husband and I attend these meetings and just like any other sermon at church I find I take a whole lotta notes on what is shared. As you can imagine, the topic of teaching usually revolves around what it means to be a leader and how we can look to the biblical model of leadership for guidance. So we started at the beginning and studied Moses. We noticed that just when Moses was starting to think too big of himself God reduced him to the role of a shepherd for 40 odd years. He obviously needed to learn a few more lessons before he could lead the Israelites to the Promised Land!"
- Bailey is always speaking on prayer and I have to say - I couldn't love it more!!! We need these little reminders and uplifting messages and I am so thankful she is here to share about it! Come check out how she combines our bible journaling tools with the She Blooms theme for a BEAUTIFUL entry!!
I love what Bailey has to say here:
"What I love about the word “bloom” is that it make me think of a flower in progress. If it is blooming it is in the process of opening up, its full potential mere moments or minutes away. But flowers will only bloom if watered and give plenty of sunlight. That is what prayer and love are in the Christian walk."
- Beautiful Word by Amy - there are some posts you want to just shout YES!!!!! At the computer screen as you read them, and this is one of them! I love how Amy shares her truth, a truth so many of us can relate to!
I love how Amy encourages us to lean into HIS BEAUTIFUL WORD:
"Right now our lives are moving at full speed and I can’t fix many of the situations around me. Trials seem to abound and I am fighting to find balance and keep my eyes on truth. It’s a time of trust and growth — a caterpillar stage for sure!
I am surviving by leaning into God’s Word every moment I can. By praising and speaking truth over what is seen and believing in the unseen. By praying for God to flood every circumstance and place with healing, faith, truth, and hope. Bible Journaling has been a refuge and a blessing to me. It’s a visual and creative form of worship that helps me focus on God’s Word and provides a continual reminder that He is in control and He always has victory."
Thank you for joining me on this month's round up, I hope you find a little encouragement and inspiration on the blog today!
