"Twist & Shout", by Lisa Dickinson.
Just because Valentine’s Day is over doesn’t mean you have to put away the Valentina collection! It’s perfect for any girly page with the vibrant mix of reds and pinks. I knew it would be a great match for these photos of my daughter, all decked out in her pink poodle skirt for a 1950s themed concert.
The gradient on the b-side of the 'See You Soon’ paper was perfect backdrop. I cut out a few of the cards from the Daily Details paper to place above and below my photos, forming a vertical column. On the left side, I layered a polka dot Clear Cut that matches the 1950s theme.
Then I added lots of hearts, flowers, and cupcake embellishments along with a stacked title in the lower corner. The result is a fun, feminine page that’s perfect for Valentines and beyond!
Supplies:
Valentina: Daily Details, See You Soon, Treasures & Text; Clear Cuts: McIntosh Confetti; Ciao Chip Elements: Flowers & Clouds, Hearts & Stars; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Frosting; Amorie Chipboard Alphas: McIntosh; Enamel DooDads: McIntosh, Punch; Enamel Dots: Cotton Candy
“Happy Easter” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I always find myself reaching for soft, pastel colors around this time of year. Spring comes late to Montana, but the pretty patterned papers in the new Sweet Sweet Spring collection make the wait a little easier! I combined some of my favorite elements from this new collection: Paper Pieces, Ciao Chip chipboard pieces, and a couple of the Daily Details. I even decorated the inside of the card. I found that I liked the card front without any sentiment, so I added it inside. For embellishment, I added a couple of the new Illustrated Faith Enamel Hearts.
Supplies:
Sweet Sweet Spring: Treasures & Text, Paper Pieces, Chipboard Icons, Daily Details, Easy Breezy; IF Enamel Hearts: Hey Sugar Sugar
“Happy Retirement” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
One of the cards that I couldn't wait to make with the new Let's Go collection is a retirement card! Using my Silhouette, I cut out a few decorative edges on the bottom of a couple of Let's Go patterned paper pieces.
To bind the card, I stitched it together at the top and then added a coordinating piece of patterned paper to cover the stitching.
I decorated each of the pages using Ciao Chip Icons, Paper Pieces, stickers, & some of the new Tiny Text Alphabet stickers! I sprinkled on several enamel hearts and stars throughout.
Supplies:
Let's Go: Air Traffic Control, Tourist Spot, Perfect Weather, Treasures & Text, Chipboard Icons, Paper Pieces; Tiny Text: Fruit Punch, Pretty Boy; Enamel DooDads: Guacamole, McIntosh
These are all fabulous!!! LOVING those photos and title on Lisa's lo!!!!!!!!!!!
