All this week, we will continue to provide you with endless inspiration with never-before-seen projects that were featured in our CHA Winter booth display. Our Creative Team has been very busy creating oodles of project ideas with all of the new collections and products, and we are excited to finally share them with you!
“Sweet Little Boy”, by Jennie McGarvey.
The hearts Clear Cuts is just about my favorite (okay, one of them!) because I love the rainbow of colors and who doesn't love hearts? The cheerful nature made me want to feature one of my favorite photos of my youngest son. I think they go perfectly together!
Supplies:
Clear Cuts: Hearts Colorful; Cute Baby Boy: Jungle Jammies, He Stole My Heart, Daily Details, Treasures & Text; Amorie Chipboard Alpha: White; Enamel DooDads: McIntosh; Enamel Dots: Bell Pepper, Guacamole
“Always You”, by Wendy Antenucci.
What better design then a sunburst to highlight my little man at the beach with the sun cooking down? I paired the sunny Bell Pepper Confetti with some white fluffy clouds to create my background. My photo block was created with the Cute Baby Boy whale card to go with my picture. A fun stripe pattern added some interest and color and my whole grouping was set apart on the green dot paper. The bold navy 2x2 card added a bold pop of color to my grouping which I embellished with a cute clip and some dots. The Chip Scrips added the perfect bold title without overpowering my page. I added in a Paper Piece script word to finish my title. To form a visual triangle with my orange items I added few cute little ocean inspired embellishments to help put the finishing touches on my page.
Supplies:
Cute Baby Boy: Jungle Jammies, Chipboard Icons, Paper Pieces, Daily Details, Treasures & Text; Chip Script: So In Love; Cute Clips: Baby Boy; Washi Tape: Today; Enamel Dots: Ice; Clear Cuts: Bell Pepper Confetti, Clouds
“Always Happy”, by Becki Adams.
My favorite way to use Clear Cuts is to create backgrounds. On this layout I added a few strips of clear cuts on top of a square of white cardstock. I used a few small bits of strategically placed adhesive to keep the Clear Cuts in place while I machine stitched along each edge. I love using my sewing machine to adhere Clear Cuts. It takes the guesswork out of adhering these clear elements.
Supplies:
Let’s Go: Baggage Claim, Taxi, Treasures & Text; Zoo Crew: Treasures & Text; Enamel DooDads: McIntosh, Bell Pepper, Guacamole, Ice, Blueberry; Clear Cuts: Orange Confetti, Bell Pepper Confetti, Chevies Blueberry, Red Stars, Chevies Guacamole; Chip Scripts: So In Love; Amorie Chipboard Alphas: McIntosh
“Hello Sunshine” card, by Jennie McGarvey.
I knew I wanted something special for this card! The white hearts are just sweet enough to create a peek a boo base, embellished with the beautiful She Blooms products! I'm pretty sure the recipient of the card will not only be excited by the papers and stickers, but also the card base!
Supplies:
Clear Cuts: Hearts White; IF She Blooms: Art Prints, 3x4's, Treasures & Text; IF Enamel Hearts: Black Eyed Pea, Bananas For You; Enamel Dots: Milk White
“Life's Big Adventure”, by Heather Leopard.
Life is most definitely one big adventure. My girls have been begging for a road trip, which we are planning for Spring Break in March, so I'm going to give them this card to surprise them with the details of the when and where. No matter the occasion, this card can be used for practically any reason. To create this, grab two of your favorite Clear Cuts chevron sheets and arrange them so that they fit perfectly between the open spaces of each other, leaving the slightest white border between the lines. Tie some twine around the suitcases at the top of the card and then add your banner and embellishments. Simple as that and you are ready for your next big adventure.
Supplies:
Clear Cuts: Chevies Pickle Juice, Chevies Blueberry; Let's Go: Paper Pieces, Borders
