Welcome back to our last day of our team up feature with Kerri Bradford Studio! So many of us own digital die cut machines, and if you happen to own a Silhouette, you've most likely heard of Kerri Bradford. She has been creating shapes to use with the Silhouette (they can be used with other die cut machines as well) for a few years now, and has a fabulous collection of kits to choose from in her online store. A handful of our designers are teaming up with Kerri's designers, and combining Bella Blvd's collections and embellishments with Kerri's digital shapes. For some reason the big Kerri Bradford titles scream gold to me and I just had to go all in with gold foil for it. Even though Christmas decorations are up in the stores we still have a few nice fall days left here and I am still in the mood to make bright fall page and I mixed orange, pink and gold for this page with the papers from the Hello Autumn collection from Bella Blvd. When working with layers I like to have small pieces of different sizes of paper and other materials here and there so you can see I have added the arrow frame from Kerri Bradford in my layers.

“Merry Christmas”, by Christin Grønnslett.
Put on the music and be prepared for Christmas. Halloween is over and the Christmas decorations have arrived in the stores here and what better way to start planning the Christmas pictures. Last year our Christmas photoshoot didn’t exactly go as planned as you can see on this little 5 year olds face. I used the Kerri Bradford A Lot Of Trees and the Merry Everything kits for this layout. Just had to add a little extra gold to the layout and mixing it with the two recent Bella Blvd Christmas collections - Make it Merry and Christmas Cheer.

"Yes, I Really Am That Adorable", by Kristine Davidson.
What a great collaboration with Kerri Bradford this week. I've been a long-time fan of her cut files and I was super excited to be working with Bella and Kerri - a great match up! I wanted to use the awesome Riley Collection for my cat Archie this week. I used a plus background in white to add details to my background and also the title in black cardstock to match the pattern paper. I used an overload of die cut stickers but it seems to work well with the design of the page. The cute cat wasn't hard to work with either ;-)

“Best Day Ever”, by Kat Benjamin.
I’ve been really trying to play catch up with my wedding album recently (it’s only been 3 ½ years since we got married!) and when I saw the “restroom people fancy” cut file in Kerri’s About Town kit, I knew I just had to use it. I played off our wedding colors - pink and orange - and pulled in a lot of different collections and embellishments to create my layout. I also used the “laughter” cut file from Kerri’s Giving Thanks kit add a bit more interest and fun!

“Land That I Love”, by Kat Benjamin.
Since November 11th is Veteran’s Day in the U.S., I figured it was the perfect time to scrap this picture of my Grandmother. She was a Marine during WWII and worked on planes back in the States so they were in good shape for the men overseas. I’m so proud of her. She was a remarkable woman who passed away just under a year ago at 100 years old. She’s definitely my hero! For this page I used Kerri’s USA kit and the postage stamp frame from the Life Additions 2 kit. I cut out the frame in all different sizes and filled them in with patterned paper and topped with a variety of embellishments.

“Good Stuff”, by Lisa Dickinson.
I am such a fan of background cut files and Kerri Bradford has some of the best! I love filling them with bits of patterned paper … it’s kind of a coloring book for scrapbookers! On this page, I used the chevron background from the Background Basics #3 kit, filling it with Bella Blvd papers from Hello Autumn, Valentina, Color Chaos and Star Student. To deepen some of the colors in the papers, I added spray mist and ink. To finish the page, I used some of the Feathers files and a title from the Happy Stuff kit.

“You Make My Heart Sing”, by Lisa Dickinson.
I’m always looking for elements to incorporate into my favorite circle designs, and the Feathers from Kerri Bradford were a perfect fit. I cut lots of them from the Valentina papers and arranged them in a wreath-like shape on my page. Inside the circle, I added my photos and journaling and a cut title from the Happy Stuff kit. A few Enamel Dots scattered around the circle are the finishing touch!

“All You Need Is Love”, by Kristine Davidson.
I am sharing a layout with the Valentina Collection today. When I first saw this collection i thought of fun loving stories. I first started with the background and really wanted some black highlights on this page. I selected the Background Basic file and this shape was perfect. I was able to use the See You Soon patterned paper with different hues and of course a little sewing to add more texture. I added the title, from the Seasonably Said kit, in black and added fun stickers to add details. I love the picture of my niece and I and it is a reminder that All We Need Is Love!

“Currently 7”, by Heather Leopard.
I love using large words and shapes to make a bold statement on my layouts so when I saw the Grammar School Adverbs kit by Kerri Bradford, I added that baby immediately into the cart. My youngest daughter just celebrated her 7th birthday a little over a week ago and I knew that I HAD to create a layout about what she's into at age 7. I paired the word "currently" with "October" from the On the Calendar kit and then made a super-sized "7" to tie it all together. I cut the 7 out of the background paper and then added the black polka dot transparency to the back and stitched it to the page. Then I cut the other words out of pattern paper and added it to the top of the page. I added the photo in the middle-ish right section and embellished with stickers and enamel. I plan to write the things she's into around the border of the 7.

You know sometimes when the stars and moon align and everything just comes together? Yeah, that happened with this layout. My daughter recently joined Instagram (with a private account) so she's been snapping selfies here, there and everywhere. I'm particularly fond of this one she took on "nerd" day at school. The Urban Dictionary kit from Kerri Bradford made me squeal in delight when I saw it. And then I pulled out the Bella Blvd Star Family Frenzy and Star Student collections. These were the perfect pairing...have you seen the adorable pattern paper with "selfie" all over it? I used that paper as the background and then added some paint over the top to tone it down in places. I took a screen capture of my daughter's post to use as the photo. It's one of my busier layouts but I just love how it came together.

"You Are Worth It", by Leanne Allinson.
I love the script font of the cut file, taken from the Around Here kit. Layered directly over the Just Add Color patterned paper it highlights the bold pattern text and draws attention to the details on the page. Staying with the masculine color theme of orange and black, I've used stickers and enamel doodads to create visual points of interest.

"I Was Being Patient", by Leanne Allinson.
As soon as I saw this cut file I knew I could use it in so many different instances, but this photo really encapsulated the story that the title created. I teamed up the cut file, from the Impatient kit, with some tiny text alphas and offset them with a strip of coordinating patterned paper. The fussy cut words from the Lucky Starz collection were a fun embellishment to add alongside some more fussy cut and machine stitched stars!

Welcome to Flashback Friday! Sometimes we get so caught up in using our newest Bella collections that we forget about all of the older collections that we still love and can find so many uses for. We know that so many of you have these same collections in your stash as well, and thought it would be fun to "flash back" and be inspired by them once again!
“He Loves”, by Becki Adams.
I dove into one of my all-time favorite collections, Max, to create this layout. With two boys in my house I'm always thrilled when I can use a boy themed collection. I love the basic primary colors of this collection. The Candid cards are also a favorite of mine. Not only are they great for journaling, but they're great for photo mats and embellishments.

“Happy Halloween” card, by Julia Akinina.
I was inspired by these cute little ghosties and the vampires, so I created two Halloween card. Despite that the collection has a lot of green papers and details I used for this card only turquoise, grey, black and orange colors. I loved this little "poisoned cake", I cut it out from the Daily Details paper. I always love layering at the cards, so I created a lot of layers with the help of the dimensional squares. Black stars from the Enamel DooDads perfectly finish my card.

“Trick or Treat” card, by Julia Akinina.
These two guys, "The Boo Buddies", was the first thing I noticed when I received this paper, so I can't ignore this card from the Daily Details paper and it became the main element on my second card. I added the black die cut frame and placed it to the center. I loved than the sticker sheet has a lot of sentiment stickers so I took two of them for my card. I think that Halloween Magic collection is the prettiest and the cutest Halloween collection! It has the traditional Halloween colors, little scary monsters and this collection inspires a lot!

It's always been fun to browse thru Pinterest, looking at the endless ideas and inspirational images that are out there. Our designers always enjoy taking whatever image we provide them, and using it in whatever way inspires them the most as they work on their projects. It's amazing to see how many different ideas and designs can be inspired by just one image.

“Give Thanks” card and treat box, by Corri Garza.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday so I was so happy to see this inspiration photo. I loved the little pilgrim hat so I headed over to the Silhouette Store and decided on this cute hat shaped treat box. I made a matching card with paper from the Hello Autumn collection and die cut sentiment from the Silhouette Store.

"Fall Fun", by Jennie McGarvey.
At first glance, I saw Halloween in this image and I wasn't exactly sure how I would proceed. Then, I thought about it a little more. I saw beautiful and rich colors to work with and I was excited! I loved how blue, black and white were also thrown in with the traditional autumnal colors.

“Can You Be Any Cuter”, by Christin Grønnslett.
Today I am sharing my first layout with the Valentina Collection. The process of this page actually started months ago, right when I saw the colors of the collection I started on the background. I used lots of different mists for small and big drops in pink, red and black hues (only to cover up most of it). It’s a few months until Valentine’s Day, but this collections works perfect for the everyday pic too, especially for cute little girls.

“Hello Beautiful” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
This is the first time that I've been able to play with the new Valentina collection and I am definitely smitten! While technically, it is a Valentine's collection I think it would be used for so much more! That's what I had in mind when I created this card. I chose images and sentiment stickers that could be used for anytime. I embellished my card with a McIntosh crochet heart and some Oreo Black enamel dots.

What could be better than a traditional red and green Christmas card? I do love some of the non-traditional colors, but my fave will always be the red and green! Oh, and with a little pink thrown in for good measure! Ha! I combined some of my favorite papers and stickers from the new Make It Merry collection to create this festive card.

i everyone, Stephanie here today to share one of my latest bible journaling page with you. I feel like it's been a while so I decided to try and make this a good one, sharing lots of my steps along the way and a look into my creative process. I recently attended a woman's conference called reCreate and this verse was on my heart after I heard one of the speakers. Psalms 139:4 says: "I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well."
WOW! Talk about powerful! For me this is such a strong verse, it reminds me that no matter what I think about or how I see myself God made me to be so much more. He made me wonderful!? Most days that's not how I feel, but what a reminder that you and I are made by Him and in Him and He is wonderful. If ever a time I wanted to be guilty by association this would be it haha, I hope you agree!
Let's take a look at where this page started:
I have been noticing pretty flowers all over my Instagram feed covering so many of your pages and it inspired me to try making some of my own. Well right there I ran into trouble, my flowers looked more like pink globs of paint, not the look I was going for at all.
So I grabbed my brushes and headed to YouTube and found THIS video. Problem solved, I now had flowers!
After they were dry I cut them out, because who am I kidding? If I tried to paint these right onto my bible pages the first try I would have made a mess, and probably a big one.
When I got the ones I need cut, I started Laing them out on my page where I thought I'd like them to go. I also thought I'd like to add some leaves cut from patterned paper, but I just didn't like the way they looked.
Once I saw my flowers on the white background I knew that I needed more color, so I decided to use some light mint paint and add in a bit to the center of my page.
After my paint was dried I started playing around with my flowers and decided to use them at the top and bottom of my page instead of on the diagonal. It felt more balanced and put together this way so I just went with it.
My next step was deciding on what I wanted to use for my journaling, I decided to hand paint part of it and use letter stickers from the Genesis kit for the rest. So I waited for my words to dry then cut them out, allowing myself times to practice until I got something I liked verses just going for it right on my page (are you picking up on my fear of commitment yet? Lol).
Next I laid out my words and white letter stickers then decided I I would sneak in some of the new Tiny Text letters in white as well. Once everything was stuck down I decided to sew through my painted words to make sure they were going to stick it out for the long haul.
Here is a close up of my finished page, I added in my journaling strips which on this page is simply the verse I printed out.
When I had my page in my bible I felt like it needed something more so I cut my last two flowers out and glued them down. I finished it off with a few white enamels, stepped back and smiled. I hope it made God smile too, I bet it did!
