We are back for our third day of our team up with Scrapbook Adhesives, as we bring you a week full of inspiration. Scrapbook Adhesives will be sharing projects from their designers, featuring our Bella Blvd products, over on their blog this week. And we have a group of our Bella designers that have been incorporating their fabulous adhesives into their projects, which we will be sharing right here, all week long.
Welcome to our new feature, "Beyond The Theme". While Bella has plenty of collections that can be used for everyday layouts, cards, and other projects, we also have a wide assortment of more themed collections. You might dismiss a themed collection at first glance, thinking it doesn't fit in with your scrapping needs. If you take the time to look at them more closely, you'll find that most of our themed collections are actually very versatile. This month, we're challenging our designers to think "beyond the theme" while working with our Star Student collection.
“I'm a Little Cooler”, by Jennifer Chapin.
Star Student is such a great collection for scrapping school photos, but have you ever used it for a traditional layout? The colors make it perfect for boy-themed layouts. I had this photo of my son that I wanted to scrap and I knew it would go perfectly with this collection. I also got a chance to use some great Scrapbook Adhesives product on this page!
I started with my photo and adhered it to a sheet of plain patterned paper from the collection. Next, I cut out a few of the daily details and added them next to the photo. I embellished my page with punched stars, chipboard and stickers from the collection. I also had to add a few enamel star DooDads - couldn't leave those out!
One great thing about the E-Z Adhesive Runner is that the line of adhesive that rolls out is solid. You know your paper is going to hold tight!
I also used some of the smaller 3D foam squares which are perfect for popping up stickers and other embellishments. Thanks so much to Scrapbook Adhesives for sending some of their amazing products to try out!

“Don't Worry” card, by Corri Garza.
The Star Student Collection has several pattern papers that can be used almost any project. I love the look of the red, black & yellow together. I used the Scrapbook Adhesive E-Z Runner to adhere the layers of my card to my card base. The 3d Foam Squares are perfect for adding dimension to your projects.
