This week, we asked our designers to focus on the new Just Add Color collection when creating their projects. This collection has already begun shipping, and you should be able to find it at your favorite local scrapbook stores and online retailers. We want you to have plenty of ideas for when you get this collection in your hands, so we thought we would load you up with even more ideas to incorporate this collection into your projects. I love the projects our Creative Team members came up with, and I hope you do too!

"Star", by Leanne Allinson.
I really love the flexibility of adding your own color combinations to layouts and now with the new Just Add Color collection, this process has taken on a whole new level for me! By having a blank canvas of shapes, I can now perfectly color match my photos by adding my choice of water color paints directly to the paper. In effect I can design my own patterned paper from the gorgeous designs provided. The photo of my son playing grass hockey was the ideal opportunity to put my words into practice! The stars were painted to match parts of his uniform and were then fussy cut to create a trail. The Little Bits word sticker strips are a fun touch interspersed with the now personalized star details. To complete this page, I have even layered the Color Chaos Gulf Strandz patterned paper to resemble miniature hockey sticks alongside of the photo, tying every detail together to help share the story.
Supplies:
Just Add Color: Daily Details, Star Struck; Color Chaos: Gulf Strandz, Treasures & Text; Enamel DooDads: Oreo Black; Little Bits: Little Bits Ice, Little Bits Orange, Little Bits Oreo
"Yummy", by Kat Benjamin.
I love the Just Add Color collection and the fact that you can customize it to fit exactly what you need. The pictures I decided to use for this layout were not very colorful, so I was able to add as much color as I wanted - and I did. I added in a lot of “rainbow details” using my watercolors and the colored daily details sheet. On a side note, the “Happiness is Homemade” sticker was PERFECT for a layout about my niece with homemade ice cream all over her face!
Supplies:
Just Add Color: Treasures & Text, Trinkets Black & White, Newsflash, Daily Details, Passcode, Dotty; Clear Cuts: Punch Confetti; Invisibles: Referee; Enamel DooDads: Ice
"Thanks" card, by Corri Garza.
My card was inspired by the colors on the Treasures & Text alphas from the Just Add Color Collection. I used water color paints to add color to the flowers and then spelled out my sentiment with the coordinating letters. I love how you can customize this collection to match your project!
Supplies:
Just Add Color: Star Struck, Passcode, Treasures & Text; Tiny Tots: Treasures & Text; Little Bits: Plum; Bella Bows: Cotton Candy; Enamel Dots: Oreo Black
