Happy National Scrapbook Day everyone! We have so much to share with you today, so we hope you'll keep popping in throughout your day. I challenged all of our designers to create an "All About Me" layout, giving us a peek into a little part of their lives. Each of them also answered five quick scrapbooking related questions. We will be sharing these layouts over the next 11 hours. So sit back, grab a snack, and get to know our designers just a little bit more, and hopefully their projects will inspire you the next time you go to create!
“Dear Self, Today You Will Shine”, by Stephanie Buice.
Every time I am asked to scrap about myself I freeze up, I draw the biggest blank and have no clue what to write, I almost feel uncomfortable doing it. I rarely take pictures of myself so I thought it was about time I got behind the camera for a change and this NSD assignment was the perfect time to get it done. I decided to make this layout a little note to myself, a little reminder that it’s ok to shine once in a while and to open my heart up to the world more even if it’s scary.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: Pickle Juice Strandz, Yellow Strandz, Guacamole Strandz; Just Add Color: Star Struck; Riley: Friendly Felines; Designer Tape: Chevy Combo Pack; Enamel Dots: Cotton Candy, Yellow, Punch, Guacamole, Ice; Enamel DooDads: Cotton Candy, Yellow, Guacamole, Ice; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Frosting, Punch, Pickle Juice; Simply Simona Chipboard Alphas: Orange; Amorie Chipboard Alpha: White
And now for some scrapping Q&A's:
1. What are your top 5 supplies/products that you cannot scrap without?
My Top Five Supplies I can’t scrap without would have to be: Enamel Dots in every color, inks and paint, white cardstock, my ancient Basic Grey Magnetic mat, and always alpha stickers.
2. What do you listen to while you scrap? TV, music, or do you do your best working in silence?
Since there really is no such thing as silence in our house I always have something on to drown out the noise. I love music but recently I find myself trying to play catch up with a few of my favorite shows while I work.
3. What snacks and/or drinks are beside you when you're scrapping?
I’m pretty boring when it comes to scrapping snacks, I don’t usually eat but I always have water in here with me.
4. When do your do your best scrapping? Are you a morning scrapper, a late night scrapper, or do you find time during the day?
Since my son takes a nap during the day I find that’s when I get the most of my scrapping done.
5. When the creativity isn't flowing, what do you do to get back into your creative zone?
This happens to me all the time! I usually have to step out of my room and close the door behind me. I like to go for a drive or take Brady to the park, anything to get my mind off of it. By the time I get back I’m usually ready to go. Also new boxes of product on the door step never hurt my creativity either. Haha!
“Car Selfie”, by Christin Grønnslett.
I don’t like having my picture taken and if I make layouts of me it’s mostly pictures like this - taken by me. I am always the one behind the camera. This picture was taken 4 months ago - the day after I cut my hair for the first time in a loooong time. (I usually had my very long hair in a bun in the back of my head since it always got so warm letting it all hang down). I had even dyed my hair in a slightly red tone, something I haven’t done in 20 years, then the red tone was totally and accident. If you look closer at the four images you will see that I have slightly moved and tilted three of the pictures so they don’t look completely the same. Usually when I scrap I only use white cardstock as a base, this time I changed it a bit and only used a roughly 6x11 piece of cardstock prepped with drops of mist for a watercolor effect and some stenciling.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: Treasures & Text, Peep Strandz, Gulf Strand, Guacamole Strandz, Oreo Black Strandz, Pickle Juice Strandz, Bell Pepper Strandz, Orange Strandz, Daily Details; Simply Spring: Treasure & Text, Spring Patchwork; Campout: Daily Details; Ciao Chip Elements: Symbols; Crochet Hearts: Cotton Candy; Enamel DooDads: Bell Pepper
And now for some scrapping Q&A's:
1. What are your top 5 supplies/products that you cannot scrap without?
My top 5 products/supplies I can't scrap without would be: white cardstock, clear gesso, mists, stamp pads and patterned paper for layers.
2. What do you listen to while you scrap? TV, music, or do you do your best working in silence?
I always have my computer beside me when I work and usually I have Spotify on.
3. What snacks and/or drinks are beside you when you're scrapping?
I tend to have Pepsi Max around me when I scrap.
4. When do your do your best scrapping? Are you a morning scrapper, a late night scrapper, or do you find time during the day?
I am a night owl and usually get creative when it’s really time for bed, so I just stay up a little longer to now lose my creativity.
5. When the creativity isn't flowing, what do you do to get back into your creative zone?
When I need to get back into my creative zone I make backgrounds. I play with mists, waterbrush, inks and stamp pads. That way I have also have a quick start for the next time I sit down to scrap. My mostly lose my creative zone when I run out of backgrounds.

Wonderful pages! So much that is soft and beautiful in both and two somewhat shy scrappers, too! I'm glad you shared your photos and created these pages about yourselves! I hope you are, too, in the end!
