“Weekend Memories”, by Wendy Antenucci.
I started this layout by going through the Campout collection for something to play with. I loved a few of the Daily Detail cards and they matched my pictures so well. As I was trying to find a combination of patterned papers that made my pictures really stand out I ran across the LOVE Invisible sheet and instantly my layout was fixed. I cut my Invisible sheet so that it led your eyes into my title and my pictures. Next I cut apart one of the borders from the Campout collection with a fun saying that fit my picture. Chipboard was my next addition with the clouds and sunshine and a few sprinklings of flowers filled in by the amazing Enamel pieces. I chose to add a few things to the Invisible page too to add a little pop. I finished up with some pen lines to give a little more definition to my layout.
Supplies:
Campout: Daily Details, Borders; Color Chaos: Treasures & Text; Invisibles: Love; Ciao Chipboard: Flowers & Clouds; Enamel Dots: Ice; Enamel DooDads: Milk White
“8 Days a Week”, by Kelly Holbrook.
I cut a heart shape using two scallops from one of the scalloped edge specialty Invisibles papers. I layered it in with the rest of my embellishments which I kept to a 'days of the week' theme, because those are the days my youngest keeps me running. The journaling reads: YOU are a handful on days that end in 'Y'.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: Ice Strandz, Pickle Juice Strandz, Words of Wisdom, Months, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Treasures & Text, Trinkets; Invisibles: A Day at a Time; Enamel Dots: Milk White, Bell Pepper; Designer Tape: Blue Gingham; Ciao Chipboard: WhatNots
“This Boy”, by Jennifer Edwardson.
My boy LOVES colour so these new collections were perfect for pics of him! These ones were taken at Easter this past year and of course he was wearing bright brights. No wonder they sat waiting to be scrapped until now. I used a fab red patterned paper for my base and then layered strips of other colourful papers to make the pics pop. Loved adding the enamel DooDads too. Sometimes you just need that little something extra and these are exactly what I needed for this. I even punched a few star shapes from one of the clear cuts and raised them with 3D foam underneath the enamel stars - fun little dimension here and there.
Supplies:
Star Student: Brainiac, Art Journal, Chemistry; Color Chaos: Oreo Black Strandz, Guacamole Strandz, Treasures & Text; Clear Cuts: White Confetti; Enamel DooDads: Milk White, Guacamole; Ciao Chipboard: Hearts & Stars; Amorie Chipboard Alphas: McIntosh
“Sweet Stars” card, by Morgan Bandkowski.
Creating pennants on cards is something do a lot. I used the backside of the Guacamole Strandz which have these playful stars. I added a few enamel dots within the stars. To help finish the card off, I added a strip of designer tape and layered two stickers on top of the designer tape.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: McIntosh Strandz, Guacamole Strandz, Trinkets; Enamel Dots: McIntosh, Ice; Designer Tape: Navy Dot
“Keep Calm & Study On” card, by Morgan Bandkowski.
I personally love this card because of the stars. I was excited to use the new Clear Cuts and was pleased how easy they were to use. I used a star punch and easily created 3 clear cut stars. I then picked 3 different patterns and layered the stars. Instead of using glue to attach the stars I added a silver brad in the center of each star. It is a simple card, but I think the clear cuts make it!
Supplies:
Star Student: Daily Details, Borders, Art Journal, School Yard, Typewriter Clear Cut
LOVING how everyone used the clear cuts!!!! Gorgeous!!!!!
