March Guest Designer: Kim Jeffress

We are so excited to introduce you to our talented March Guest Designer, Kim Jeffress. We were lucky enough to have Kim on our design team a few years ago, and we are so very happy to have her back to visit for the day! Let's get to know a little more about Kim and check out the projects she created to share with us!

Hi everyone! It’s Kim Jeffress here and I am totally excited to be back on the Bella Blvd blog this month as a guest designer. I have always been a long-time fan of Bella Blvd, I was honored to have been on the design team back in 2013/2014 and I can’t wait to share a few projects today. The bright, fun and happy colors of each Bella Blvd collection suit my style of scrapping perfectly. Having two young boys my photos are always colorful and candid, a perfect combination with the papers and embellishments of each collection.

My first layout using the Star Student collection tells the story of my eldest and his step into year 3 this year at school. I love the bright pops of color and the star elements which suit my photo well. I’ve added my title in a vertical line for a point of difference to my layout.

Next I want to share a special memory of a fabulous family holiday we took last December at the Great Barrier Reef. Here we are about to go diving for the first time, my oldest was a little anxious … this layout shares the anticipation of this moment as a family. The bold patterns in the Color Chaos collection really match perfectly with my photo!

My last layout uses a high contrasting combo of colors- pink, yellow and black. It really creates a wow factor. I loved the bold text in that pattern paper and with it being yellow my favorite color I just had to make it the focus of my layout. I’ve added splashes of black throughout, to draw your eye around my layout.
