*** Just wanted to remind everyone that we are currently accepting submissions for our 2015 Creative Team call! You can find all of the details HERE.
Welcome to Monday Morning Challenge, where we offer up a challenge, and share with you our designers take on that challenge. Today we asked our designers to create a shaped layout using our new Invisibles specialty papers.
“American Girl”, by Katie Rose.
For this layout I made the base of my layout into a circular shape to go with the Flower Fancy Invisible. I cut my card stock into a circle and mounted it on a larger circle of patterned paper. I then arranged a photo collage on my card stock. I use the chipboard Borders to really make my title stand out on the collage. And the adorable font from the Simply Spring Collection goes perfectly with the theme of my layout. For my journaling, I cut a circle of white card stock a bit larger than the circle of patterned paper. I wrote my journaling around the edge and then placed the card stock under the Invisible. I love that you can see the journaling through the Invisible!
Supplies:
Invisible: Fancy Flower; Simply Spring: Daily Details, Borders, Treasures & Text, Trinkets; Ciao Chipboard: Borders, Hearts & Stars, WhatNots
“Collect Beautiful Moments”, by Wendy Antenucci.
When I received the assignment to make a shaped layout using the new Invisibles I knew that I wanted to make a general layout, almost home decor type project that could be displayed. I chose the Blessings Invisible due to the quiet pattern that allowed my pictures to shine. I then gathered my pictures and the speech bubble as the basis of my layout. I needed a little color so I chose the multi striped border strip to rest my pictures on and a Daily Detail. The date with a fun sticker replacing the 0 and some clouds pulled my horizontal in a row layout up a bit to shake things up a bit. I couldn't resist adding in a few DooDads, because they make me happy! Now off to find somewhere to hang my most precious memories from 2014.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: Just Write Journaling Stickers, Words of Wisdom, Trinkets, Treasures & Text, Invisibles Blessings; Ciao Chipboard: Flowers & Clouds; Enamel DooDads: Milk White, Ice
These are gorgeous! LOVING how many photos the girls got on their pages!!!
