All this week, we will continue to provide you with endless inspiration with never-before-seen projects that were featured in our CHA Winter booth display. Our Design Team has been very busy creating oodles of project ideas with all of the new collections and products, and we are excited to finally share them with you!
“Easter 2008”, by Katie Rose.
This simply spring line is perfect for Easter Hunt pictures! We live in New Hampshire and this particular Easter was very cold. I love that I can pair these photos with these papers and make them feel more like spring. The chipboard that coordinates with this line is adorable. I love that bunny!
Supplies:
Simply Spring: Gingham, Borders, Sunshine, Hippity Hop, Eggstravaganza, Treasures & Text, Chipboard Icons; Ciao Chip: Borders; Enamel Dots: Bell Pepper
“Only a Mothers Love”, by Jen Chesnick.
For this layout I knew I wanted to use this overly large photo of my daughter. I trimmed it down to roughly 9x11. The chipboard of Simply Spring really is my favorite item of the whole collection, so I used up quite a bit of my remaining pieces. I mixed in some fussy cut pieces from the daily details sheet to add some more layers.
Supplies:
Simply Spring: Patchwork, Hippity Hop, Gingham Green, Daily Details, Treasures &Text, Trinkets, Chipboard Icons, Woodgrain Clear Cut; Felt Bows: Cotton Candy; Ciao Chip: Borders, Flowers & Clouds
“Spring Chick”, by Brook Stewart.
I love how the new lines like Simply Spring have so many coordinating embellishment options! The new felt bows and enamel dots have to be at the top of my favorite list for this release!
Supplies:
Simply Spring: Hippity Hop, Sunshine, Daily Details, Borders, Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Chipboard Icons; Enamel Dots: Milk White, Ice, Punch; Bella Bows: Gulf; Ciao Chip: Borders
“Fun Times”, by Stephanie Buice.
The new Simply Spring collection is such a fun take on a spring and Easter theme. I like the colors and the cute little hedgehog, so perfect! For this layout I chose to show that even though the collection is filled with girly colors it can still be used for some fun boy pages.
Supplies:
Simply Spring: Gingham, Daily Details, Borders, Sunshine, Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Chipboard Icons, Woodgrain Clear Cuts; Ciao Chip: Borders; Enamel Dots: Bell Pepper, Milk White; Amorie Chipboard Alphas: White
“Adventure” card, by Shellye McDaniel.
This journal card is so adorable and I didn’t want to take away from the simplicity of the design. I added a trio of chipboard clouds and then accented each with an enamel heart.
Supplies:
Simply Spring: Eggstravaganza, Daily Details, Chipboard Icons; Ciao Chip: Flowers & Clouds; Enamel DooDads: Bell Pepper
“Easter Chick” card, by Shellye McDaniel.
Try adding a sampling of a Side “A” patterned paper by die-cutting a large circle of it and using it as a focal point on a card. Add embellishments to the side of the paper so that the pattern will remain the focus.
Supplies:
Simply Spring: Gingham, Eggstravaganza, Borders, Treasures & Text, Chipboard Icons; Bella Bows: Cotton Candy
