We hope you're ready to be inspired! We are back this week, providing you with endless inspiration with never-before-seen projects that were featured in our CHA Winter booth display. Our Design Team has been very busy creating oodles of project ideas with all of the new collections and products, and we are excited to finally share them with you!
“So Many Reasons to be Happy”, by Jennifer Chapin.
This page is all about the new enamel embellishments! To stick with a colorful tone-on-tone theme, I used my die cutting machine to cut a pie chart out of white cardstock, then backed it with different colors of patterned paper. I placed coordinating colors of the enamels on each section of patterned paper and embellished with chipboard and a crocheted heart.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: Orange Strandz, Ice Strandz, Pickle Juice Strandz, McIntosh Strandz, Treasures & Text; Star Student: Chemistry, Art Journal; Invisibles: Star Student; Ciao Chip: WhatNots, Hearts & Stars, Flowers & Clouds, Symbols; Enamel Dots: McIntosh, Guacamole, Bell Pepper, Oreo Black, Milk White, Ice, Blueberry; Enamel DooDads: McIntosh, Guacamole, Bell Pepper, Oreo Black, Milk White
“6 Months”, by Shelly Jaquet.
I love how versatile Bella Blvd’s collections are. After setting my eyes on those cute little chipboard animals, I knew they would be perfect little friends to be placed on a page about my little baby boy. Cute critters and babies just make the perfect couple, don’t they? As for the new enamel dots, I must confess that I am a complete enamel dot junkie, and these dots are just plain awesome. I love the different sizes that range from tiny to jumbo with so many color options. I filled the negative space from the “6” to give those lovely dots a perfect home.
Supplies:
Campout: Let’s Go Camping, Trail Mix, Chipboard Icons, Treasures & Text; Color Chaos: Orange Strandz; Amorie Chipboard Alpha: Brownie; Enamel Dots: McIntosh, Bell Pepper, Guacamole, Ice, Blueberry
“Life in Color”, by Jen Chesnick.
Life in Color was hands down my favorite project of CHA. I am IN LOVE with the enamels. I knew right away I wanted to create a 3D design to show them off. I cut out a star burst pattern (You could do a big circle too!) and layered my papers with foam. Then placed all my little bits between. I really love how it came together.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: Daily Details, Words of Wisdom, Treasures & Text, Trinkets; Enamel DooDads: Bell Pepper, Punch, Milk White, Oreo Black; Enamel Dots: Bell Pepper, Punch, Milk White, Oreo Black; Felt Bows: Punch; Ciao Chip: Hearts & Stars, Symbols, WhatNots
“Smile”, by Becki Adams.
Enamel dots in larger sizes and shapes, count me in! I love the different sizes and colors. I used several different colors of dots to add extra color and texture to two of the squares on the grid of this layout. Because the larger dots are flat, I was able to layer the dots for even more dimension and texture. They’re the perfect accent to this fun layout about grocery shopping with three kiddos.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: Peep Strandz, Words of Wisdom, Treasures & Text, Trinkets; Ciao Chip: WhatNots, Hearts & Stars, Borders, Symbols; Enamel Dots: Guacamole, Ice, Cotton Candy; Enamel DooDads: Bell Pepper
"Be Silly Card”, by Shellye McDaniel.
You will find a nice mix of sizes and shades of color in the new packs of Enamel Dots & DooDads! I made a frame around the sentiment of this journaling card by attaching various sizes and colors of the round Enamel Dots around it. The enamels give a nice sheen and texture and because they’re not too dimensional, they’re perfect for cardmaking.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: Orange Strandz, Ice Strandz, Words of Wisdom, Trinkets; Enamel Dots: Bell Pepper, Ice, Peep, Guacamole; Enamel DooDads: Bell Pepper
“Rainbow Love” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
Be still my Bella loving heart! Enamel dots and shapes in all of my favorite Bella colors…yes please! For my card, I wanted to show how well the new Enamel Dots coordinate with the Bella papers! I punched out circles from the Color Chaos collection, adding a scattering of Enamel Dots for embellishment. For the sentiment, I added a heart sticker from the Color Chaos Treasures & Text.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: Pickle Juice Strandz, Bell Pepper Strandz, Peep Strandz, McIntosh Strandz, Gulf Strandz, Treasures & Text; Enamel Dots: McIntosh, Cotton Candy, Bell Pepper, Guacamole, Ice
