All this week, we will continue to provide you with endless inspiration with never-before-seen projects that were featured in our CHA Winter booth display. Our Design Team has been very busy creating oodles of project ideas with all of the new collections and products, and we are excited to finally share them with you!
“Forever”, by Lisa Dickinson.
The rainbow hues of the Strandz papers make my heart happy! And so I decided to use heart die cuts to feature these patterns. I cut a variety of sizes and stitched them vertically to my background, which is a Clear Cut layered over ivory card stock. To add even more color, I used a scalloped border around the entire layout, punched from the Strandz papers and adhered to the back side of my card stock.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: McIntosh Strandz, Punch Strandz, Peep Strandz, Orange Strandz, Bell Pepper Strandz, Pickle Juice Strandz, Guacamole Strandz, Ice Strandz, Gulf Strandz, Blueberry Strandz, Scallop Strandz, Words of Wisdom; Clear Cuts: Milk White Confetti; Ciao Chip: Hearts & Stars, WhatNots, Star Student
“Love Love Love”, by Shelly Jaquet.
Seeing as the Color Chaos Collection has every color in the rainbow covered, it was a no-brainer to create one. I am a huge fan of the tone-on-tone look, so I mixed in a few of the Ciao Chipboard shapes to give the rainbow that extra pop.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: McIntosh Strandz, Orange Strandz, Bell Pepper Strandz, Guacamole Strandz, Ice Strandz, Blueberry Strandz, Daily Detail; Ciao Chip: Hearts & Stars, Flowers & Clouds; Bella Bows: Oreo Black; Enamel Dots: Bell Pepper, Ice; Enamel DooDads: Cotton Candy, McIntosh
“Super”, by Shelly Jaquet.
The Color Chaos Collection has fun written all over it. What is not to love about tone-on-tone stripes with playful patterns on the other side? With every color of the rainbow represented in this collection, I love that I could pull out just the ones I needed to team up with my son’s super hero picture as Spiderman. The burst was actually really easy to create with the diagonal stripes. I started with the Ice Strandz by placing the point of the paper at the center of my paper where I wanted the burst to start. That gave me easy guide lines for the rest of my patterns. The enamel stars where then the icing on the cake.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: Ice Strandz, McIntosh Strandz, Peep Strandz, Blueberry Strandz, Words of Wisdom, Trinkets, Treasures & Text, Just Write Journaling; Enamel DooDads: Milk White, Ice, Blueberry, McIntosh; Ciao Chip: Borders, Hearts & Stars
“You Keep Me Together”, by Stephanie Buice.
For this layout of my Niece and her mom I wanted to keep things simple and allow the focus to be on the pictures. I chose a few of the Strandz papers and my background and bordered it with the Oreo Black Strandz to help make the other colors pop. I added some of the new Bella Bows at the bottom of the pictures as the finishing touch.
Supplies:
Color Chaos: Punch Strandz, Orange Strandz, Bell Pepper Strandz, Pickle Juice Strandz, Ice Strandz, Treasures & Text, Trinkets; Bella Bows: Pickle Juice, Milk White, Ice; Amorie Chipboard Alphas: White; Enamel Dots: Cotton Candy, Punch, Bell Pepper, Guacamole, Ice, Oreo Black
