Welcome to "What's New Wednesday"! Every Wednesday, our designers will be sharing projects using the latest and greatest products from Bella Blvd. Especially our newest collections, which our designers are having so much fun creating with!
"Just Be Cool", by Leanne Allinson.
I love the new Hello Autumn collection for its vibrant colours. But I also love the touches of neutral that allows me to ground my crazy ideas! The fussy cut leaves, layered in cluster groupings, and the woodgrain panel at the top of my page, have been used to create a magical garden for the mythical creature in the photo (my son pretending to be a unicorn!). The Hello Autumn Treasures & Text alphas have a wonderful whimsy about them and were perfect not only because the colors coordinated with my photo. And the fussy cut stars from the Lucky Starz patterned paper collections, were added to reinforce that the hint of magic might be at play.

“Happy Turkey Day” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I have loved these two owls from the moment I first saw them! I knew that I wanted them both to be the stars of the Thanksgiving card that I send to my mom! Being in a different state, we don't always get to be together for the Holidays but I like to send her special cards when we are apart. I'm sure she will love these two cuties as much as I do!
Supplies:
Hello Autumn: Falling Into Fall, Borders, Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Paper Pieces, Chipboard Icons; Designer Tape: 12mm Combo
“Merry Christmas” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
For this card, I gathered some of my favorite items from the Christmas Cheer collection: Paper Pieces, Ciao Chip chipboard pieces, a sticker, and a couple of borders! For embellishment, I added some twine and a few scattered sequins. For some added dimension, I popped up a couple of the layers using foam tape.

“Happy Harvest” card, by Kathy Martin.
Tis the season for a happy harvest and to create fall projects with Bella Blvd’s Hello Autumn collection. This card began with the Daily Details ‘Happy Harvest’ card in hand. Once my focal piece was decided on I started mixing and matching paper and accents until I liked the combination and placement of things. When I mix papers and accents together I like them to have contrasting colors so things stand out individually.
Supplies:
Hello Autumn: Autumn Floral, Daily Details, Treasures & Text, Trinkets
“Christmas Love” card, by Kathy Martin.
When you’re a child Christmas is all about the presents, but as you get older you realize it’s really about family, the cozy home you’re sitting in on Christmas morning and your pet that’s jumping through the wrapping paper! It’s also about enjoying the creative process of making and sending handmade cards.
Supplies:
Christmas Cheer: Reindeer Games, Merry & Bright, Paper Pieces, Treasures & Text
