Project Life is everywhere these days, in many shapes and forms. Whether you create full Project Life albums, a few Project Life inspired layouts/spreads here and there, or even simply working Project Life style products (such as Bella's new Daily Details papers) onto your everyday layouts, there are so many ways to incorporate this popular style into your designs. We are asking our designers to be inspired by Project Life, and show us how they work that inspiration onto their own pages.
“Week 41”, by Katie Rose.
I used lots of the new Hello Autumn line for this PL spread. I think my favorite thing in this line is the chipboard "autumn" in different colors from the Icon chipboard pieces. I used them on a 3x4 card that I cut from patterned paper and stitched them on for added detail. I carried this over to the left side using the Amorie alpha chipboard letters on my photo. I cut a couple of journaling cards from the daily detail pattern paper from this line this line. The rest I made using a mix of designer tape, stickers and chipboard. The pumpkin patch week is always one of my favorite to document!
Supplies:
Hello Autumn: Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Daily Details, Falling Into Fall, Autumn Floral, Perfect Pick, Gatherings, Borders, Chipboard Icons; Amorie Chipboard Alphas: White; Designer Tape: Yellow Chevron, Navy Dot
“Week 8 & 9”, by Wendy Antenucci.
In a household of children the Tiny Tots collection works wonders in documenting our life. Most of our weeks are characterized by an assortment of everyday pictures and so color plays a large roll in my Project Life. For these weeks I chose blue and splashes of red. The love and house theme worked with what happened for my weeks so I chose cards that dealt with these themes. After choosing my photos and my color scheme I love to pick a few chipboard pieces to focus on then I follow that by my choice of stickers to tell my story. I trimmed the red scalloped border sticker to fit the smaller scheme of my cards and then realized that they looked like banners and helped emphasize a carefree feel of our everyday.
Supplies:
Tiny Tots: Treasures & Text, Icons, Sweet & Sassy, Trinkets, Busy Bee, Borders, Daily Details, Flashcards A-L; High Five Alpha Stickers: Black-White, Brown-Cream, Color Wheel
These are fabulous!!!!
