Halloween Magic is one of our newest collections, and it's also what I asked our designers to do for me. I asked them to work some "Halloween magic" and create some amazing Halloween projects to share with you all this week. We have a varitey of projects to share, as we focus on the Halloween holiday every day this week!
“October 2012”, by Jennifer Edwardson.
I don't know why, but I always seem to have stacks of Halloween pics in my stash so I was pretty excited when Stephanie created yet another fabulous collection for me to help get these photos onto layouts and into albums (eventually ;)). I actually started with a patterned paper base from the 'Hello Autumn' collection and then built on top of that. These photos of my kids and my parents are awesome and all the little pumpkin bits worked perfectly with them. I love the borders sheets in each collection and cut and layer a few of them here. As well, I have this great Halloween border punch and used that on the black and white strip at the top, and then finished it off with stickers.
Supplies:
Hello Autumn: Perfect Pick; Halloween Magic: Borders, Treasures & Text, Paper Pieces, Daily Details
“Boo Buddies Forever”, by Jennifer Edwardson.
These 2 kiddos have been friends since they were babies and they are still so close. We were able to spend some time together on Halloween a couple years back and they were inseparable. These photos are some of my favourites every of them together ... especially Alex's arm around her by the fire, which is seriously too cute! I was so happy to see some heart embellishments mixed into this collection as they were so right for this layout.
Supplies:
Halloween Magic: Pumpkin Parade, Daily Details, Boo Buddies, Paper Pieces, Trinkets, Treasures & Text
Treat Containers, by Jennifer Edwardson.
I am all about making cute little containers to put candies and gift cards into, and this collection made that so easy! I love the look of the old fashioned style popcorn boxes so I have kept one in my stash as a template. I traced it onto the back of the black and white polka dot paper and scissor cut it out and adhere it back together. A few paper pieces on the front and good to go. Pillow boxes are my favorite way to give a gift card and super easy to decorate. A few border punched strips of paper, some twine and a tag, and you’re done. Love these and can't wait to give them out at Halloween.
Supplies:
Halloween Magic: Boo Buddies, Hocus Pocus, Paper Pieces, Treasures & Text, Trinkets
“Hauntingly Cute” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I cannot stop making cards with this cute new Halloween collection! The super fun characters make me smile every time I see them! I combined some of the Halloween Magic papers, stickers, Paper Pieces, & a Ciao Chip chipboard. For embellishment, I added a Bella Button and some twine!
Supplies:
Halloween Magic: Boo Buddies, Treasures & Text, Paper Pieces, Chipboard Icons, Trinkets; Button Market: Orange Stars
Pumpkin Treat Box, by Laurie Schmidlin.
Halloween is the perfect holiday to give treats! I thought it would be fun to dress up a little brown box that I had in my stash. I covered each side and the top with some Halloween Magic patterned paper. I wrapped a couple of the borders around the box and added a cute pumpkin chipboard piece to the top!
Supplies:
Halloween Magic: Hocus Pocus, Borders, Chipboard Icons
