Riley Blake Designs has just released a new fabric collection from Bella Blvd, featuring our Snapshots collection! You can check out the entire collection HERE, as well as find information on where to purchase Riley Blake Designs fabrics (including online retailers).
We thought it would be fun to put the spotlight on this fun new fabric collection this week. We send fabric to not only our wonderful fabric designers, but to some of our layout and card designers as well. We have a great mix of projects to share with you this week, all featuring the Snapshots fabrics. And a handful of the designers also put together tutorials for you as well!
Snapshots Quilt, by Becki Adams.
When I got the fabric from the Snapshots line I knew I wanted a quilt for my 9-year-old daughter's bed. I searched Pinterest for the perfect patterned and landed on the Simple Stripes quilt from the Diary of a Quilter. I chose this pattern because I wanted bigger blocks/strips to show the detail in the fabric. Fabric projects are not my forte so I had a lot of help on this project from my mom and my sister.
My favorite fabric in this collection is the small colored cameras.
We laid out the quilt so we had the blocks situated in the order we liked them.
The blocks were then ready to be stitched together to make the top of the quilt.
My mom quilted my daughters initials and the year it was completed into the quilting design. My little girl couldn't be happier with her new quilt!

Fabric Travel Accessories, by Kathy Frye.
Bella Blvd's newest fabric line is Snapshots, and it has the most adorable fabric designs! Little hearts, cameras, houses, stripes, and lots of family words!
I made a travel journal with the green camera print as the background, added a colorful stripe border and then appliqued a photo (printed on Printed Treasures Fabric) of my grandchildren on the front.
I had to have the heart fabric under the photo and then added some fun words from the Family fabric!
On the back of the journal cover I appliqued a heart of heart fabric and added one of the cute little houses to the center of the heart (because no matter where we travel, it's always great to be home again!).
And the fun little cameras seemed so appropriate to use on this clear little camera bag! Cute and organized at the same time!
