Welcome to "What's New Wednesday"! Every Wednesday, our designers will be sharing projects using the latest and greatest products from Bella Blvd. Especially our newest collections, which our designers are having so much fun creating with!
“Costumed Cousins”, by Wendy Sue Anderson.
Every Halloween, we try to get as many of the cousins together as we can for a fun Halloween Costume Photo. I love seeing how all the kids have grown and changed from year to year – and I know Grandma and Grandpa appreciate seeing all of the kids together each Halloween in their fun and colorful (and sometimes gory) costumes! The kids all know that once we’ve seen Grandpa and Grandma, the trick or treating can commence, so everyone is happy and excited! This new collection, Halloween Magic, really is the perfect complement to our annual Halloween Cousin photo – so many great colors, stickers, patterns, and embellishments!
Supplies:
Halloween Magic: Hocus Pocus, Borders, Daily Details, Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Paper Pieces; Designer Tape: Pickle Juice, Green Chevron; Button Market: Fruit Punch
“Little Sand Man”, by Katherine McElvain.
My go-to back drop for layouts is a white piece of cardstock, (or if I want to step out of the box, a muted piece of whitish pattern paper). Many times when I start these layouts for the blog I try to use some color; something brighter, darker, more patterned. Other people do it, why can't I? Sigh, but after shuffling paper around, I just go back to what I know. White. This is once again one of those layouts. And like on some of my other layouts I like to use a piece of velum under my photos to mute out the pattern and colors below so the photos stand in the foreground. And also like on previous layouts I love adding those Bella cloud and star embellishments. Years from now when my family looks back at my layouts they will definitely know what my favorite scrapbooking items are in this phase of my creating projects.

“Keep Calm and Give Thanks” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
One of my favorite things about Bella papers is that little bit of unexpected color! It seems that almost every collection has an unexpected but very beautiful color added to the collection, and the new Hello Autumn collection is no exception! I just adore the teal in these papers! For the focal image, I cut up one of the Daily Details (the one with the gorgeous teal color) and then added some chunky glitter to the edges.
Supplies:
Hello Autumn: Falling Into Fall, Time to Rake, Daily Details, Trinkets
“October Fun" card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
This little mummy chipboard piece completely stole my heart! I paired him with another chipboard piece, some Paper Pieces, and some Bella Stickers to create this fun and whimsical Halloween card (featuring the new Halloween Magic collection). For embellishment, I sprinkled on some rhinestones and added a bit of ribbon.
Supplies:
Halloween Magic: Goblin Treats, Borders, Paper Pieces, Treasures & Text, Chipboard Icons
These are all gorgeous! LOVING that little mummy on Laurie's second card!!!!!!
