Today we want to welcome back the second of our two On-Going Guest Designers to the blog, specially chosen during our design team selection process last September. They have both been sharing projects with us a few times throughout the past year, and we're excited to have Jennifer back with us today to share another round of fabulous projects!
“Milwaukee”, by Jennifer Edwardson.
I don’t create double page layouts often but these pics of my first trip to Milwaukee really needed to be scrapbooked together. This was such a fun trip for me and I got to mix and match lots of paper and embellishments to really show them off. The Freestyle Sophisticates are the best for a base to almost any layout and this was perfect for my double as I had a lot of other color going on in other places. It also gave the chance to write my journaling right onto my base at the bottom of my photos. I added several pieces of chipboard, some designer tape, stickers, a crochet heart and a little flag too! LOVE the memory of this trip.
Supplies:
Lucky Starz: Trinkets, Treasures & Text; Family Forever: Treasures & Text, Candid Cards; Freestyle Sophisticates: Freestyle Scallop; Summer Squeeze: Borders; Flags: Sunshine & Happiness; Arrows: Pink/Gulf; Ciao Chip Elements: Clouds, Stars & Hearts, Engagement Icons; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Ice
“Alex”, by Jennifer Edwardson.
This picture of my son Alex just makes me smile. We weren’t doing anything special. Just having dinner in a restaurant after a long day enjoying Canada Day activities. He just so seriously cute sitting there all happy waiting for his food so I snapped this pic and for me it made me fall in love with him just a little bit more. Again I started with a Freestyle Sophisticates base and added a strip of yellow stars to create a long photo mat. I added border stickers along each edge (some of my absolute FAVE pieces of every Bella collection). I raised a couple of star sticker using 3D foam to add a bit of dimension as well. Then I got to work on my big long huge detailed title/journaling. I love this part of my layout. I decided to mix lots of alphas together to create this fun focal point to this page. Took a little more time but boy do I love how it all came together.
Supplies:
Freestyle Sophisticates: Freestyle McIntosh; Lucky Starz: Bell Pepper, Trinkets, Treasures & Text, Colorwheel High Five Alpha; Family Forever: Treasures & Text; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Pony, Blueberry; High Five Alpha Stickers: Pink/Red, Yellow; Scattered Sprinkles: Treasures & Text
“Unconditional Love”, by Jennifer Edwardson.
These photos of Emma and Alex were taken a few years back and when I came across them the other day it took me straight back to that moment. I remember watching the kids outside at their school sports day and Emma called Alex over to her after he tripped and then she bent down to tie his shoe and check out his scraped hand. It was one of the sweetest moments and I was so happy that I captured it in these photos from a distance without them knowing. I also used a piece of freestyle sophisticates for the base of this layout and then added several pieces of patterned paper on top and bottom of my photos. The candid cards are a fantastic way to add just a bit of color, a photo mat or even part of a title too. Can’t wait to add this layout to the family album!
Supplies:
Scattered Sprinkles: Pickle Juice Sprinkles, Bell Pepper Sprinkles; Lucky Starz: Candid Cards; Freestyle Sophisticates: Freestyle Saltwater; Max: Treasures & Text
