Bella Blvd & Kiwi Lane Designs Team Up: Day Five + A Giveaway

We are back for our last day of our team up with Kiwi Lane Designs for a week full of inspiration. Kiwi Lane Designs will be sharing projects from their designers, featuring our Bella Blvd products, over on their blog for the month of September. And we have a group of our Bella designers that have been using Kiwi Lane Designs templates on their projects, which we will be sharing right here, all week long. 

“Autumn Cutie”, by Jodi Wilton.

For this layout I was inspired by the Kiwi Lane Spooky Alley Borders & Nature (Tiny Accents). I love the fact that it is so easy to plan your layout with these tools and easy to layer up to get a unique look every time! I decided to layer three of the same borders at the top and bottom of my layout to give the layout a chevron look! I also used the flower from the Nature set and layered on top with a sticker from Bella Blvd Hello Autumn collection.

“Fright Night”, by Jodi Wilton.

I started this layout by using a few of the borders from the Kiwi Lane Spooky Alley Set, but decided on using only one. That is one of my favorite features of Kiwi Lane Designs, it is so easy to change your ideas before you cut! I loved the look of when strips of paper over the border made the border look like triangles. I layered a couple of paper strips over top to achieve this look. I kept the flow of the layout by adding two 4 X 6 photos in the middle of the layout and embellished in the empty space. I also added a hidden journaling card which I labeled costumed up!

“Thanksgiving” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.

Fall is my very favorite season, and I love to create cards using the rich colors and patterns form this season! I chose two papers from the new Hello Autumn collection for my background. I used the small scalloped stencil (from the Card Border pack by Kiwi Lane) to create the scalloped borders. I layered on some stickers, a couple of Paper Pieces, and a Bella Button.

“Celebrate” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.

I thought that the small triangle shape (in the Tiny Accessory set) from Kiwi Lane looked a little like candy corn, which made me think of Halloween! So, I grabbed for the new Halloween Magic collection to create this little card. I chose three different patterned papers, cut them out using the Kiwi Lane stencil, and then stitched around them. I embellished the card with a sentiment from the Paper Pieces pack, a couple of Ciao Chip Icons, and a sticker from the Treasures & Text sheet.
